Connor Cage: Are you serious right now?! You stood in this ring last week, looked me in the eyes, congratulated me on my victory, and told me that you wished me luck. You made it very clear that you respected what I was doing, and I respected you enough to believe that you meant every word of it! But apparently, the moment you walked through that curtain, you started convincing yourself that I owed you something more than the respect I already gave you! Connor steps closer, pointing at Vale as he speaks. Vale immediately moves toward him, refusing to back down.

Matthias Vale: You want to chase the WSW Championship? Go ahead! You want to beat Jack Silverman and prove that you're ready for the biggest opportunity of your career? Then do it! But don't stand here and pretend that everything you have done since Prison Break has erased what happened between us! You haven't made me disappear, Connor! You haven't made me forget what you put me through! And you don't get to decide when I stop coming after what I believe is still mine!

Connor Cage: You want to talk about responsibility? Fine! I know exactly what my responsibility is! I am the Internet Champion, and I have defended this championship against people who were more than happy to take me apart to get their hands on it. I know what it means to carry this title. I know what it means to fight for it. And I know that every time I step into this ring, somebody is going to try to take it away from me! But you know what else I know, Matthias? I know that being a champion doesn't mean I have to stop wanting more! The crowd cheers as Connor removes the championship from his waist and holds it up between them. Vale stares at the title before looking back into Connor's eyes.

Officials continue separating the men, forcing Vale toward one side of the ring while keeping Connor near the opposite ropes. Vale points at Connor over the shoulders of the officials, promising that their rivalry is far from finished. Connor stands his ground, the Internet Championship clutched firmly in his hand, refusing to turn his back on Vale. The camera cuts between their furious expressions before settling on a wide shot of the ring.

Connor Cage: I fought my way to this championship, and I am going to defend it with everything I've got. But I am also going to enter that tournament, beat Jack Silverman, and fight my way toward the WSW Championship if I get the opportunity! I am not going to apologise for wanting to prove myself at the highest level of this company. I am not going to put my career on hold because you can't accept that your time as champion is over. And I am certainly not going to let you stand here and tell me that pursuing something greater means I've forgotten what I already have!

He looks toward the entrance ramp, then back at the camera, his expression hardening. Matthias Vale: Because tonight, Connor Cage is preparing for Jack Silverman. He's preparing for a tournament that could take him all the way to the WSW Championship. He's thinking about the next big opportunity, the next big moment, the next time he can stand in the middle of this ring and tell the world that he's ready for the top of the mountain. And somewhere in the middle of all that ambition, somewhere between chasing the future and celebrating the possibilities, he's apparently forgotten that he's already a champion!

Connor Cage: You want another opportunity? EARN IT! You want to prove that you can take this championship away from me? Then stop standing here complaining about the man who beat you and start proving that you deserve another shot! Because unlike you, Matthias, I am not going to spend my career holding on to what I lost. I am moving forward to win what you might never win if you keep wasting your time complaining about me! The crowd erupts into a deafening reaction. Vale's expression turns cold, his jaw tightening as Connor's words sink in.

The audience reacts loudly. Vale points toward the entrance stage, raising his voice. Matthias Vale: You're the Internet Champion, Connor! That title isn't a prop you carry around while you wait for something better to come along! It isn't a stepping stone that you get to abandon whenever a bigger opportunity comes knocking! You have a responsibility to that championship, to the people who fight for it, and to every single person who believes that holding a title means something! And yet, here you are, looking past Jack Silverman, looking past every other obstacle in that tournament, while the man you haven't finished dealing with is standing right here!

Connor Cage: And you don't get to decide that my entire future has to revolve around you! You had your opportunity. You fought me, you pushed me, and you found out exactly what happens when you stand across the ring from me! I respect what you can do, Matthias, but respect doesn't mean I'm going to keep looking over my shoulder every time I try to take another step forward! Connor raises the Internet Championship between them again, his voice becoming sharper with every word.

Connor Cage: YOU HEARD ME THE FIRST TIME! STOP COMPLAINING AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Matthias Vale: YOU THINK THIS IS OVER?! YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST WALK AWAY FROM ME?! Connor Cage: I'M NOT WALKING AWAY FROM ANYTHING! I'M MOVING FORWARD!

@WSWCAGE's music hits, interrupting Vale. The Internet Champion emerges with his championship around his waist, looking visibly irritated by what he has heard. He walks toward the ring without smiling, keeping his eyes on Vale as the crowd rises to its feet. Connor climbs onto the apron, steps through the ropes, and takes a microphone. He doesn't wait for the music to fade completely before responding.

Vale lowers the microphone for a moment, breathing heavily through his nose. His expression is no longer one of disappointment alone; there is genuine anger behind his words. Matthias Vale: So tell me something, Connor. When exactly did you decide that your future was more important than your present? When did you decide that because you beat me once, you could just move on and pretend that everything between us was finished? Because I can promise you one thing. I haven't forgotten what happened at Prison Break. I haven't forgotten what it took to get you to that point. And I certainly haven't forgotten that I am not finished with you!

Vale shakes his head, stepping directly into Connor's space. Matthias Vale: There it is! That's exactly what I wanted to hear! You keep talking about proving yourself, about reaching the highest level, about wanting something greater. But the moment somebody reminds you that there are still unfinished matters behind you, suddenly they're jealous, suddenly they're bitter, suddenly they're the ones who can't move on! You think I am standing here because I can't accept that you beat me? You think this is about my pride?!

Connor Cage: I think you're standing here because you can't accept that I beat you and kept moving! The crowd erupts at Connor's interruption. Vale's face twists with anger as he snatches the microphone closer to his mouth. Matthias Vale: YOU DON'T GET TO TELL ME WHAT THIS IS ABOUT! Connor Cage: THEN STOP TELLING ME WHAT MY CAREER IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT! The two men stand inches apart, their voices echoing through the arena. Neither man looks away. Connor holds his championship firmly at his side while Vale points directly at him, his frustration finally boiling over.

For several seconds, neither man speaks. Then Vale suddenly shoves the championship aside and steps forward, bringing his face dangerously close to Connor's. Matthias Vale: SAY THAT AGAIN! Connor immediately shoves Vale backward. Vale stumbles half a step before charging forward again, but a group of officials rushes into the ring and wedges themselves between the two men. Vale struggles against the officials holding him back, shouting toward Connor, while Connor attempts to move around the security personnel to confront him.

Matthias Vale: Last week, I came out here and gave Connor Cage something that I don't think he deserved quite so easily. Respect. I congratulated him on what he accomplished at Prison Break, acknowledged the fact that he beat me, and even wished him luck in his tournament match. I walked out of this ring without laying a finger on him because I believed we could settle this like two men who understood what they were fighting for. But the more I think about it, the more I realise that maybe I was the only one in that ring who understood what this championship actually means. Vale pauses, pacing across the ring as the crowd begins reacting to his words.

@THEUNSPOKEN_WSW's music hits, and the crowd responds with a mixture of cheers and boos. Vale walks onto the stage with a stern expression, his eyes fixed on the ring. He doesn't acknowledge the audience for long, marching down the ramp with the determination of a man who has something to get off his chest. He enters the ring, takes a microphone, and immediately begins speaking.

@StuartDeBeWSW made his shocking return, replaced @StrykerSteel and beat @ArielSamue22925 to head into the first semi final against the Intercontinental Champion @AlexanderFury_, happening next week on WSW Revolt! This week on WSW ShowDown, we witness the final Round 1 match between @WSWCAGE and @JackSilver92 to see who faces @EddieGerraza in the second semi final!

Connor raises the Internet Championship as Matthias walks up the ramp. The crowd applauds the champion, but the camera stays on Matthias for a moment longer as he looks back toward the ring, his expression making one thing clear: his defeat at Prison Break has not ended his pursuit. Connor turns toward the hard camera, holding the title high. Next week, he will face Jack Silverman in the tournament for a shot at Devitt Rimmer's WSW Championship. Matthias Vale, meanwhile, remains firmly in the picture, waiting for another opportunity to reclaim the Internet Championship. The camera fades to black.

Matthias Vale: Good. Because the last thing I want is for you to start underestimating me. You have your tournament. I have my championship to chase. Let's see where we both end up. Matthias lowers the microphone and turns toward the ropes. Connor remains in the ring, watching him leave, the Internet Championship still resting over his shoulder. Matthias pauses on the apron and looks back at the champion one final time. There is no handshake, no sudden attack, and no attempt to ruin the moment. He simply gives Connor a firm nod before stepping down to the floor.
