🐉 Thirty men entered Dave Arneson’s dungeon. Only ONE came out.
Before D&D was even published, Arneson sent six players and 24 NPC soldiers beneath Castle Blackmoor in pursuit of an evil wizard.
They encountered deadly monsters, discovered an enchanted sword, and became hopelessly lost.
Eventually, nearly everyone was dead.
The lone survivor was Greg Svenson, whose character escaped with the magical sword and sold it to the Baron for 150 gold pieces.
He later discovered he’d been robbed blind. 😂
By the time the adventure ended, it was 4 AM.
Greg was hooked. His character would become the legendary Great Svenny.
More than 50 years later, we’re still exploring dungeons, fighting monsters, and making questionable decisions about magical treasure.
Here’s to Dave Arneson, the man who helped start it all.
Happy ArneCon! ❤️
My copy of Wight Box came in! Huge shoutout to @TheBasicExpert1 for such a well put together product.

Speaking of everyone's favorite halfling bard, just waiting for Sticker Mule to run another deal and I'll be ordering 50 of this guy
Been experimenting with GPT6 to make a simulator for my trading card game, Warmasters. So far I've gotten a tutorial done, a decent UI and am working on a challenge mode.

I am excited to announce the early release of my new project, a My Little Pony RPG entitled Old Equestria! This is an idea I've fiddled around with for some time now and it's finally playable!

Currently working on a dark fantasy My Little Pony RPG. It's a concept I've been fiddling around with for some time. I've used grok to help me put together a rough draft that I can build off of.
Working on a new project! Tentatively called Warmasters. It is a movement based trading card game inspired by miniature wargames. Each player controls half of a board of 5 cards wide by 6 cards tall. The goal is to get one of your Troops across the board and attack your opponent.
I have soft-launched my custom #YuGiOh format, GOAT eXtended! The card pool allows all cards from LOB to LODT, and up to 5 singleton cards from any later set. The banlist is a work in progress and I've already noticed a few things to fix.

This right here? Peak late era Mystara.
GAZ11 The Republic of Darokin wasn’t just another fantasy kingdom sourcebook.
TSR gave us merchant princes, trade wars, espionage, caravan routes, and political intrigue…
While Clyde Caldwell delivered one of the most unmistakably “1989 fantasy” covers TSR ever published.
Warm candlelight.
Velvet sleeves.
Gold piles.
Maps.
Schemes.
Adventure.
Darokin asked:
“What if the most dangerous weapon in D&D was a contract?”
And somehow, it absolutely worked.

Did you ever notice the cover of D&D B1 In Search of the Unknown is signed by DIS & DAT?
Thats Dave Sutherland &. Dave Trampier.
Artists arent the best at meeting deadlines, so there were a few times where Dave Sutherland finished the project.
