Gold miners’ earnings surge but valuations lag: Sprott
Gold producers aren’t getting full credit from investors for stronger profits and tighter spending discipline, Sprott Asset Management says.
The NYSE Arca Gold Miners Index traded at 5.7 times expected operating earnings at Sept. 30, about 22% below its roughly 7.3-times average over the past 20 years. Its forward earnings-per-share measure has climbed to more than four times its level at the end of 2023, according to the Toronto-based investment manager.
“We believe that major gold miners favour capital discipline and profitability, which has at least been partly reflected in their balance sheets and rising shareholder distributions,” Director of Research & Investment Strategy Kenny Zhu said in an emailed reply to The Northern Miner. “Net debt levels have fallen to their lowest point in the past 20 years, even as return on capital rises and shareholder distributions increase.” (Northern Miner)

Nas últimas 72 horas, contudo, alguns acontecimentos podem alterar essa dinâmica. Lula cometeu erros relevantes na sabatina da Globo, especialmente ao afirmar desconhecer a ausência de reajustes do Bolsa Família durante seu governo, tema que deverá ser explorado pela oposição. Além disso, suas declarações sobre Minas Gerais, após a eleição de Cleitinho, e o confronto com a Globo criaram novos desgastes políticos. Por outro lado, embora Flávio ainda mantenha uma postura relativamente passiva, sua participação na sabatina da Globo foi considerada satisfatória. Sem uma performance excepcional, conseguiu evitar erros relevantes em temas sensíveis, deixando a percepção de um desempenho superior ao de Lula. O cenário, portanto, continua apontando para uma vantagem estreita de Flávio, mas, após o movimento de convergência das últimas semanas, os acontecimentos recentes podem favorecer uma nova mudança marginal de tendência em seu benefício nesta reta final.

Coreweave CEO Michael Intrator says the market is acting irrationally by selling his stock.
A run through SEC filings reveals Michael Intrator has been “acting irrationally” as well, selling $907 million worth of $CRWV shares this year alone.
His cofounders Brian Venturo and Brannin Mcbee have also been acting irrationally. The trio has sold a combined $3.3 billion of stock since the IPO. Venturo is the second biggest insider seller of any American company this year.
Their benefactors at Magnetar Capital have also been acting irrationally. They have sold more than $5.5 Billion of Coreweave stock since the IPO.

Evidentemente la emisión monetaria del Gobierno está fuera de control.
Fede la inflación mayorista correlaciona mucho mejor con el fenómeno monetario que la minorista que se ve afectada por recomposición de precios relativos como en los servicios públicos. Una cosa es el índice y otra muy diferente el fenómeno monetario que induce el alza general de los precios. Seamos honestos de verdad!
