Or….
You drop playing all these garbage games for points that are worth less by the day and just get a bitcoin rewards credit card.
Easiest way for anyone to just stack sats.
A guy has paid $895 a year for the Amex Platinum.
He's carried the card for 3 years. That's $2,685 in annual fees. He got it because a friend said "it's the best travel card," and he loves how it looks when the server picks it up at dinner.
What does he use it for? Flights, a few hotel nights, and the occasional Centurion Lounge visit. That's it.
Last month, he complained at a dinner party: "I think I'm about to cancel. $895 is insane for a metal card."
Across the table, his friend, a former credit card rewards analyst who now helps people optimize their cards for a living, put down her fork and said:
"You've been paying $895 and using maybe $300 of it. You've never activated half your credits. You've never enrolled in the ones that need enrollment, so they've been sitting there unused. You've never used the $200 Uber Cash that resets monthly, you've let the digital entertainment credit expire 36 times, you've never touched the Resy dining credit that resets every quarter, you've never booked a prepaid hotel through Amex Travel to trigger the $600 hotel credit, you've never used the airline fee credit, you've never checked the Equinox, lululemon, CLEAR, Walmart+, or Uber One credits, and you've never added an authorized user. You're not paying a fee. You're paying a subscription and canceling every benefit inside it."
He pulled out his phone and opened his Amex account for the first time since the day he activated the card.
She walked him through 10 steps in 25 minutes.
By the end, he'd found over $2,000 in credits he could realistically use in the next 12 months, on things he was already buying.
"I wasn't wasting a premium card. I was ignoring a premium card."
Here's every Amex Platinum benefit most cardholders never use 🧵
Feeling a bit nostalgic today. Got an "On this day.." flashback from 3 years ago. It was my first fully owned and curated @FilFoundation event in Las Vegas. Looking back, it was such a banger.
Here was my lineup:
CPO of Meltwater
CTO of Scale.AI
VP of AI at AMD
@KyleSamani
@MarkYusko
And I almost had the CEO of Harvey.ai (last minute cancellation).
While Filecoin may have faded from the mainstream conversation, I do think so many individuals from this time are now championing where crypto and AI are coming together today.
A moment to remember fondly for sure. It was an epic week.
Was thrilled to participate in this year's @avax Summit in NYC. The team at @AvaLabs has been nothing but ultra-supportive for all the work @w3arew3 is pursuing to drive real and diverse adoption.
Enterprise tech is a consensus sale. One no from the CEO, the CISO or compliance and the deal is dead.
@StowellPorter on stage with @avax in New York, on why so many of those deals die:
"Clients buy outcomes. They do not buy tools or technology."
Seriously, this is going to be massive.
The next lending boom will run on tokenized assets.
Aave just announced a lending market on Avalanche where institutions borrow stablecoins against tokenized Treasuries, funds, and credit without selling them.
Scale that to everything. The world holds nearly $900 trillion in assets, and most of it can't be borrowed against quickly. Once those assets are tokenized and accepted as collateral, an owner can turn any of them into cash in minutes and keep the asset.
That's the biggest liquidity event the world has ever seen.

BREAKING: Aave to launch specialized RWA lending market on Avalanche
Aave’s new RWA Hub will allow institutions to use tokenized financial assets as collateral to borrow stablecoins without selling their underlying positions.
At the center of the market will be Tether’s USAT, serving as a primary source of dollar liquidity and one of its first major institutional use cases.
Aave V4 has already attracted $20M+ in deposits on Avalanche since launching just two months ago. The RWA Hub now extends that infrastructure into tokenized financial markets, where assets can be financed, borrowed against, and put to work onchain.
Value is about doing things that others are unwilling or unable to do. If this level of productivity gains occur, it will only translate into more time spent building relationships that matter.
Sit back and relax is a myth.
Thank you @avax for an amazing week. Great people and conversations. Real builders for real businesses.
Just the type of room I want to be in.
Fascinating how one of the greatest technology innovation ever gets minimized by the Fed. Such is the financialized world we live in.
Stop focusing on noise. Step back.
@jvisserlabs is making this moment so understandable to everyone. Don’t be caught offsides.
Imagine AGI arrived, but the only thing people could talk about was inflation, oil, bonds and the Fed.
That was this week.
While markets obsessed over whether the Fed might hike a shocking 25 bps, 10,000 AI agents worked in parallel on Navier-Stokes, research agents produced 3.1 workdays for every human workday, and compute continued its transformation into scalable intelligence.
This is the disconnect I keep coming back to:
The linear world is debating the price of money.
The exponential world is changing what labor, productivity and economic growth even mean and rates do not matter.
This week I cover:
AGI and Astra.
Why AI capex doesn’t care about the Fed.
Why GPU economics are far better than Wall Street feared.
How to build your own AI trading desk.
Robinhood at the center of AI + crypto + TradFi.
And why Ethereum may be having its Amazon-2013 moment and how to value it.
The biggest risk isn’t missing the next Fed move.
It’s using an old framework to understand a new world.
Linear vs. Exponential: AGI Has Arrived But Oil, Bonds and the Fed Oh My

"Stablecoins can provide programmable dollar settlement across borders and time zones. Tokenization can represent claims, collateral, and ownership in forms that software can read and act upon. Smart contracts can execute conditional rules. Wallets can become native accounts for people and eventually agents. On-chain systems can make audit trails and permissions available in real time rather than after a chain of reconciliations." -- @jvisserlabs

Proud to officially join the @Circle Alliance Program.
Different verticals call for different stablecoins for different jobs. USDC is one of the most trusted, and it's a first-class option inside W3 workflows.
This membership cements our partnership, and we're proud because it's earned. It takes a live solution running in production.
More trusted partners. More options for our clients.
The days of humans pushing the button on financial decisions are numbered. Money is about to move itself at machine speeds.
@w3arew3
Your financial controls were built for human speed. When AI comes for money, agents don't wait for reviewers, they execute. The old system spread accountability across multiple signers, but with AI accountability is now hyper-concentrated.

Somewhere in your business, someone is waiting on information that already exists.
@avax_economist and @StowellPorter take on what it costs to fix that, and where most attempts stall. Two real cases: @w3arew3 and Trad•Fi.

Enjoyed talking trade finance with industry pioneers @StowellPorter and Anthony Day and sharing why I believe being the 'aggregator' and 'translator' to diversified, durable, tokenized yield is the WAY to meet accredited investors where they are.
The capital is on-chain. The rails are live. So why is deploying into real products and companies still this hard?
@TravisJohn, Head of Institutional at @XDCNetwork, joins @StowellPorter, CEO of @w3arew3, and Anthony Day to break down what actually unlocks institutional capital.

The truth is, the entire white collar tech workforce in SF could be laid off and it would barely register on the national unemployment number.
Tech jobs are the high paying ones, but absolutely minuscule in total number.

"As AI agents begin to act on behalf of consumers and businesses, money will need to move at machine speed, across borders, in tiny increments, with clear permissions, spending limits, fraud controls, and auditability. That is where stablecoins, digital wallets, real-time settlement, and programmable payments begin to matter." - @jvisserlabs
