We are thrilled to announce that the @StorefrontKGO has joined the TRIEC Mentoring Partnership as a valued referral partner! Referral Partners play a crucial role in our program, connecting newcomer clients with opportunities for settlement and employment across the Greater Toronto Area. At East Scarborough Storefront, collaboration is at the heart of everything they do. Their focus is on fostering meaningful discussions, running impactful programs, organizing engaging events, and facilitating learning opportunities for residents, social service organizations, academic institutions, businesses, planners, and architects alike. East Scarborough Storefront on why they joined as a partner: "East Scarborough is an incredibly diverse community, with a large percentage of racialized newcomers who face unique challenges obtaining employment. The number of newcomers who have registered to receive 1-1 employment support with a Storefront Employment Coach, has increased more than 50% in the last year! TRIEC successfully convenes a wide range of public and private sector partners to provide newcomers with diverse learning, mentorship, and networking opportunities that facilitate the equitable integration of skilled newcomers to the GTA. We are excited to learn from them and to facilitate better experiences and outcomes for the newcomers we serve." #mentoring #partner #community
