The idea that Gaza is a bigger, more important foreign policy issue than the Russian invasion of Ukraine is certifiably insane and more liberals/Democrats should just call it out for what it is.
Hasan: "What does it say for your credibility on foreign policy issues if you've got the two biggest foreign policy issues of our lifetime, Iraq and Gaza, both wrong?" Yglesias: "I don't know that those were the two biggest foreign policy issues of our lifetime..."

The Mayor of NYC is now openly advising people who are in our country illegally, in a foreign language, on how to best evade American men and women in law enforcement… Realize where we are.

Salamanca. The battlefield is pretty incomprehensible on a map, but Wellington's genius in timing his attack becomes obvious once you climb the Greater Arapile and see what he saw #Napoleon

Walking 53 of the 60 battlefields is the part that gets me. Maps flatten everything, and the ground always has an opinion. Which one surprised you most once you stood on it?

Reminder that even in the most historically “inbred” places in the US (eastern Kentucky and West Virginia), the cousin marriage rate is less than 1%, whereas it’s 40–60% in Gaza.

USA civil war was one the deadliest conflicts in western history
The United States is dramatically more diverse than any European country & has suffered less internal conflict than any of them in the last 250 years alone. France, Spain, Germany, Italy in the last 250 years. Utter basket case

The National Review is doing a good job hammering Vivek for this, and interestingly points out Donna Arthur's own disturbing criminal history. Extremely untrustworthy individual. Every self-respecting conservative should condemn this. nationalreview.com/news/amy-…

Evil and inhuman.

Donna Arthur lost custody of Amy Acton at age 12 after Acton's stepfather was charged with raping her. Arthur stayed married to him until his death. Acton and her brother have been estranged since. “Calorie defect is an actual problem in developed countries” is a core worldbuilding element of the leftist cinematic universe.
You see, the greatest French writer in history, Victor Hugo wrote an entire novel about how looting to feed yourself and your family is not a crime or personal failing, but a fundamental flaw of a corrupt system that gives you no other choice

In Les Misérables Jean Valjean stole one loaf of bread to feed his sister's seven children. Recent Paris looting involved crowds taking cigarettes jewelry luxury goods and consumer items from stores. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Valj… en.wikisource.org/wiki/Les_Mis%C… thelocal.fr/20261018/never…

Do not vote for Vivek.
This is absolutely disgusting and the act of a desperate campaign. This woman lost custody of her kids because her husband abused Amy. How anyone can look at that and say, "let's put her on air," is beyond me. Every consultant and operative who worked on or paid for this should be permanently out of politics.

see normal people don’t understand that a 285 million dollar contract isn’t really that much because you have to pay taxes and also have to pay someone to play a gold harp as your personal chef prepares your dinner
Jaylen Brown says he bought a gold harp, and now has someone come over twice a week to play it as the sun goes down while his chef cooks dinner “My favorite purchase, I think my best, my most favorite purchase was, I bought a harp. I bought like a gold harp. I got it upstairs too…” “I got a harpist that come play like twice a week. While the sun is going down, chef is in the kitchen. You know what I mean? Just…”

Every study finding "evidence" that medical transition is beneficial is like 53 people sent a questionnaire two years after transition with a 40 percent loss to follow up rate. Meanwhile, Finland has rigorously tracked the mental health of every single patient who received gender medicalization over decades in the entire country and found that the rate at which patients required mental health treatment more than doubled after transition. The study is orders of magnitude larger and more methodologically rigorous than anything ever attempted by those claiming transition is medically necessary and lifesaving. And yet trans activists pretend that the vastly stronger study is weaker than their collection of hundreds of laughably weak, underpowered, and self-evidently tendentious studies. Any multiple of zero is zero.
The entire premise of ‘gender transition’ is a fraud. After cross-sex hormones and surgery, the share of young Finns needing psychiatric care went from 19% to 49%! Finland tracked every young person sent to its gender clinics, for up to 25 years. Among those given cross-sex hormones or surgery, 19.2% had needed specialist psychiatric care before their first clinic visit. After their last procedure, 48.9% did. Their matched peers stayed flat. We were told cross-sex hormones and surgery would fix these young people's mental health. Finland checked. After the drugs and the surgery, far more of them needed psychiatric care, not fewer. What Finland found Finland sends every young person who wants a medical "gender reassignment" to one of two university hospital clinics, in Helsinki and Tampere. Researchers led by Dr. Sami-Matti Ruuska, an adolescent psychiatrist, and Prof. Riittakerttu Kaltiala, a professor of adolescent psychiatry at Tampere University, pulled the national health records for every one of them. That's 2,083 people under 23 who went to those clinics between 1996 and 2019. Each was matched with eight people of the same birth year and hometown, 16,643 in all. Some were followed for up to 25 years. The new numbers Critics claimed the first analysis might have counted people who hadn't had their drugs or surgery yet. So in September the authors ran it again, starting the clock only after each person's last step: cross-sex hormones, breast removal, or genital surgery. •Before their first gender-clinic visit, 19.2% had needed specialist psychiatric care. •At some point after their last procedure, 48.9% did. •Their matched peers, counted from the same dates, went from 14.4% to 13.2%. After their last procedure, these young people were about six times as likely as the general population to need specialist psychiatric care. That held for both males and females. billboardchris.com/news/2026…
