We are so sad to share that Dame Stephanie “Steve” Shirley CH has passed away aged 91. Child refugee turned tech pioneer, philanthropist & autism advocate, she founded an all woman software company & changed countless lives. Her light will never fade.

Today I'll be publishing the #BucklandReview into Autism and Employment. This is an important moment, but there is still lots of work to be done to ensure that autistic people have the employment opportunities they deserve.

Are upper floors on your #highstreet being used to their full potential…? Or is there un- and under-used space over occupied and vacant grounds…?
Excited to hear we’ll be working again with @AbdnInspired on a study of the issue on Aberdeen’s Union Street linkedin.com/posts/aberdeen-…

It’s Dolly Parton’s 78th birthday. Shouldn’t this be a national holiday?

Solopreneurship isn't about disrupting an industry, building the next unicorn, or being featured on some silly Forbes list.
It's about doing things you enjoy, with people you enjoy, and doing very little of what you don't like.

Been laid off in work since Friday so I’m without a paying job over this time of year. I’m a bench joiner, carpenter and cabinet maker by trade so if there’s anything going let us know please. Anything is appreciated massively

Leadership is lonely. Ambition is lonely. Building is lonely.
Even if you have a great company or great spouse, a lot of the journey is internal & you're on your own.
It's really hard to bear, and people will drop out over time.
You have to want it in your core.

I am working on a new composition of the Hafod Morfa copper works and the Swansea canal. The drawing is completed and I will be starting the oil painting in a week or so.
