Caneat: "We will be closed for the foreseeable future until we can fix the damage to today’s fire. I promise when we come back we will still be making the best mince pies in Brum! Specially grateful to our incredible staff for evacuating everyone so safely and efficiently."

It’s not very often that a development proposal can be considered exciting or thoughtful- well, when it’s crafted and organised by cooperative businesses within the community it becomes something very exciting! Check out this clear introduction to the @StirchleyCD #Stirchley – at Birmingham, England

Please consider taking a bottle of water with you to give the plants a water if you’re passing the old district office 💦 I watered the hanging baskets 1st thing, they’ll need doing again tonight and the flowers under the hornbeam tree (middle of square) are looking quite sad! KL

Photos from today’s walk round Stirchley. It feels like the blossoms on the trees in @StirchleyPark came out of nowhere. But they’re stunning, and well worth a look.
