This is Acropora tenuis in Exmouth Gulf, a renowned hotspot for resilient corals. Tenuis normally has a glorious pink-orange colouration. The white (bleached) branches are thousands of polyps starving & struggling to stay alive, the brown branches are dead, covered in sediment. – at Exmouth Gulf, Western Australia
