Sad we can’t have @briefnewsapp’s clear and concise breakdown of the Jan 6 hearings.
I think the language of this patent and RED’s behavior surrounding it is bad for the industry, bad for the democratization of film, and anti-competitive.
“REDs patent entitled ‘VIDEO CAMERA,’ is set to expire on 11/04/2028.”
Can’t wait.

Looking at you Tangled, Frozen, and Encanto 👀
Congrats to Domee & crew!

Caring about their experience is very much tied to how you choose to educate the customer.
Cheap tricks like “demo mode” in show rooms is the antithesis of the values I’m interested in.
Using buzz words and unnecessarily pushing resolution jumps over accuracy is just bad.
Still one of the most disappointing bits of tech news for me this year. Brief was one of my favorite apps and a sorely needed example of what news apps could be.

Saw ⊃ ⋃ ⋂ ⊂ in #IMAX. They did it again (Denis, Joe, and co) and it was incredible. Feels historic, thankful for the experience. #DuneMovie
