It should be, on the other hand, entirely acceptable to defend one's self against someone like this with any force necessary.

It's unacceptable for policing to look like this in America. This should both frighten and outrage anyone who wants the US to remain a free society.

I've never seen this much debate or questioning at a board of trustees meeting. Bopp is taking the board to town on transparency and procedures

Judicial interference with legitimate acts of state, especially the internal functioning of a co-equal branch, is a violation of the separation of powers.
Outrageous. Obama Judge Paul Engelmayer didn’t just bar @elonmusk and @doge from Treasury systems, he barred the Secretary of the Treasury himself. Without citing a single law or even allowing Trump admin to appear in court! This outlaw should be reversed immediately and Engelmayer should be forbidden by higher courts from ever hearing another case against the Trump admin. wsj.com/us-news/law/federal-…

Pamela Whitten’s plagiarism scandal and pattern of failed leadership—faculty no-confidence votes, protests, and disregard for shared governance—make her unfit to lead @IndianaUniv. How can a cheater who disregards academic integrity be trusted with the future of a university?
IU's president, once again demonstrating her "transformative" leadership. According to plagiarism.iu.edu, the pattern of plagiarism Whitten committed is called "the crafty coverup." chronicle.com/article/that-i…

May I say a word for the Democratic Party for all its faults? It is the Republican Party that nominated Trump three times, that gave way to Trump, that supports and enables Trump. The Democratic Party in opposition could have done better. But at least they were in opposition.

Our latest from @LincolnLincoln. To support Donald Trump you have to be willing to buy into his version of reality. How much are you willing to degrade yourself to justify voting for this criminal?
Donald Trump calls January 6 a "day of love." By "love" he just means he would love for it to happen all over again.

Nearly half (45.37%) of Duke faculty consider Duke's DEI efforts "too much." By contrast, about a quarter (23.97%) consider them "not enough." (@DukeChronicle survey, which gave respondents anonymity). Yet, the latter group dominates discourses on DEI at public Duke forums.
