A wonderful day of fellowship with my dear friends & co-labourers David Devenish, David Holden, Colin Baron & Steve Tibbert. Newfrontiers for ever!
Thanks @alanfrow, appreciate the post, but I was actually quoting Gordon MacDonald from his excellent book ‘A Resilient Life’!
In your 20’s you’re asking ‘Who am I?”
In your 30’s, “What’s my purpose?”
In your 40’s “Can I make my mark?”
In your 50’s “Can I last?”
In your 60’s “Can I leave a legacy?”
In your 70’s “Am I needed?”
Solid gold wisdom from @SteveJTibbert. I may have adapted it a little!
Last Sunday I brought my final message as Senior Pastor of @KingsChurchLDN and I'm looking forward to hearing our new Lead Pastor, Joe Macnamara, speak this Sunday. Do join us later that day when we will be praying for him and his family. kingschurchlondon.org/blog
I am looking forward to speaking at our Vision Sunday tomorrow, my last as senior pastor of @KingsChurchLDN, with a message titled ‘Good News’. We’ll be celebrating God’s faithfulness over the last 30 years.
Always a privilege to spend a day with @TerryVirgo founding father of @Newfrontiers @DevenishDavid @colinfbaron

How should the church respond to today's vote? This quote helps:
“I say in a hundred years, if Christians are known as a strange group of people who don’t kill their children and don’t kill the elderly, we will have done a great thing.”
