oh my god they made him watch it in 4DX
Michael Packard, 62, is perhaps the only person in recorded history who can weigh in with any real authority on the new film "Whalefall," in which Austin Abrams plays a scuba diver trying to do what Packard did in 2021: escape from inside a whale. cnn.it/3UnAcmJ

yes, why shouldn't naturalized citizens be stripped their citizenship if they hold views that actively go against the interests of the majority and sow racial discord? this is a flawless argument that of course would have no downsides or unexpected outcomes.

Unfortunately a banger, will be weaponizing in the future.
Never lied, I just doubled down on wrong information.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Amacher did not merely double down on wrong information; he posed as Talarico's cousin and fabricated a patient verification code to contact the Lindner Center.

A source close to Bari Weiss says that in this one particular instance, improbable though it may seem, she is acting in good faith
NEW: The Bari Accords
Two new dust-ups at Bari Weiss’s CBS News remind us that reporting on the Israel-Gaza conflict seems poised to be a perennial struggle at the network. They also reveal that Bari Weiss is not only growing into her leadership role, but may also be acting in good faith.

And he gives a big, self-righteous speech about defending America ... from Cuba, in the 1990s.

a truly astonishing number of words to convey “I am not funny and I agree women dress like whores.”
I was mid-hip thrust when I found out @Shanemgillis had called me a whore. Technically I found out four hours later, when I reviewed the footage of Saturday Night Live. My tripod was on the bench, my ring light was clamped to the squat rack and my boyfriend Tanner was holding the back-up phone for the side angle. Tanner films all my content. He is not allowed to look at me.
The “joke” was about how women dress at the gym. I know it was about me, because everything is. So I did what any survivor would do. I went to my car and filmed myself crying. It took 11 takes, because the lighting in a Range Rover is unforgiving, and grief is no excuse for a bad shot. In the final cut, you can see a single tear land on my sports bra right over the logo, which clicks through to an affiliate link. My caption: “I’m literally shaking.”
Then I put on the shortest shorts I own, went back inside, and filmed my ass from three angles with the caption, “Does this outfit work for you, Shane Gillis?” I wanted to send him a message that my body is not for men. To make sure Shane got the message, I tagged him. Then I tagged every man I follow. Some people say my response proved his point. These people are rapists.

Here’s a first: a guy booked a podcast interview with me, didn’t show up to the interview, and then today emailed to ask whether the episode’s gone live yet.
My guess is he’s turned over his email and calendar to an AI agent and is completely unaware that it’s destroying his reputation.

You are claiming that James Talarico was in fact at home in Austin recovering from the flu.
However, public flight tracking shows Austin-based private jet N750MF (Cessna Citation X, owned by Austin Aviation Group LLC) departed AUS on Oct 8 for Butler County Airport (HAO) in Hamilton, OH—~20-30 min from Lindner Center of Hope—overnighted, and returned landing in Austin at ~10:24 a.m. Oct 9, hours before he appeared at ACL.
Passenger manifests aren’t public, but the timing undercuts the “𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵 𝘈𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯” story.
Bring the lawsuit.
I welcome the discovery.

They want you to think it’s suspicious for a filmmaker to do interviews to promote his new movie.
Look at Dakota Johnson out here trying to get people to watch Verity.

Lena Dunham is officially reviving "Girls” at HBO for a five-episode season.
• Dunham will return alongside original cast members Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet and Andrew Rannells all returning.
• Production is set to begin in 2027, 10 years after the Season 6 finale.
• Lena Dunham said in a statement: “We always said we would only return to GIRLS if there was a specific story we were burning to tell. I've missed these characters, but for a long time I couldn’t quite picture them in the present day. Then, right around my fortieth birthday, they started talking to me in the shower. And, as you may remember, once this fivesome starts talking it’s pretty hard to get them to stop… It’s rare that you get the chance to return to something that changed your life with the gift of hindsight and a whole new level of gratitude and understanding. I love these girls (and boy), our friends at HBO, and all the people who have continued to discover the show and remind us afresh why we do this, which is the joy of being together… and the chance to wear yellow mesh…."

I remain amazed and mystified that some of the most powerful people in the world think "James Talarico seems gay!!" is a compelling critique. I bet it goes so hard with JD Vance's 9-year-old. It's so desperate and small.
