This republican socialist Scot stands in solidarity with the residents of Garvaghy Road: xitter.cf/DiscipleElland/status/… In addition I say to @JohnSwinney no hate marches in Scotland in 2027. Those days are over.
UPDATE:
The Garvaghy Road Residents Coalition (led by Breandán Mac Cionnaith) will today meet with the Secretary of State Chris Bryant & the Chief Constable of the PSNI Jon Boutcher to discuss the ongoing situation at Drumcree.
The message is crystal clear - There will be no parade through an area where it is not wanted by the Residents.
In the middle of last night (at 4am) the Portadown Orange Order again attempted to march down Garvaghy Road but they were stopped by 3 police landrovers. (Residents were still out in force on the Garvaghy Road to prevent any parade).
The support for the Garvaghy Road Residents has been simply breathtaking with Political Parties & Organisations/Activists from all over the island of Ireland heading to the Garvaghy Road to stand alongside residents
Sinn Fein, People Before Profit, Aontu, SDLP and a whole host of smaller Republican/Socialist/Left Wing groups have all stood together on the Garvaghy Road with one voice.
There have been messages of support from U.S. Congressmen, the Basque Country, from Gaza/Palestine & a whole host of European countries.
Civil Rights activists from all around the Globe have expressed support for the courage of the Garvaghy Road residents.
This is becoming a seminal moment in Modern Irish history. A moment of change when those wanting a new, different and better Ireland have united together against the old injustices of the past.
Please continue to support the Garvaghy Road Residents. Stand beside them, message them, show them that you are all with them. Justice will eventually prevail...

Grotesque decision this, one which retrospectively legitimises an intimidatory sectarian campaign with blood on its hands. We can only give our support and solidarity to any efforts to resist its implementation.

Today 500 fascists turned up to the National Demonstration they’ve been planning and building for months only to be surrounded by thousands of anti-fascists. What an embarrassing failure for the Scottish Nazis. Glasgow is anti-fascist.

Supporting Palestine Action? Arrested.
Fascists doing Nazi salutes and going on a racist rampage? Fine with Police Scotland.

The Orange Order in Scotland is even more bizarre that their Irish counterparts but just as sectarian and hate driven.
No other organisation would be legally permitted to sing about murdering people of another religion

The whole rotten, evil core of the British Establishment exposed in one post: xitter.cf/JeffreyPeel/status/207… From the so called royalty down, the UK is a cesspit of depravity. All decent, moral Scots want to disassociate themselves from this depravity ASAP. #ScottishIndependenceASAP
The suggestion that Sir Jeffrey Donaldson was allowed to operate at the most senior levels of the political establishment for 3 decades while the authorities knew all about his sexual perversions can only mean one thing: he was a state-handled asset. He was Enoch Powell's protégé (a former Military Intelligence officer), he was a knight of the realm and a member of the Privy Council. These were rewards for his being a safe pair of hands, regardless of his tendency towards sexual abuse. When his job was done, he was exited. But the authorities - in fact everyone in politics and media in Northern Ireland - did precisely nothing. They obeyed the numerous super injunctions. Only now do they squeal.
