I hate these polls. I want the Halo you'd make without consideration with polls.

If you follow graphics engine programmers on X, including people who wrote the book on Vulkan, or ex unity engineers and ex-AAA custom engine devs, nearly all of them are letting the AI code now…and a lot.
Interesting!
You can get a near production engine together in 6 months instead of 2-3 years. It won’t be as broad as Unreal, but it’s plenty for getting your own game together.
In fact, I don’t see the need for licensed engines anymore. Just build exactly what your game needs without the bloat.
Soon you won’t even need to do even that.

Obviously you just get an AI to play the games for you. You dont have to play games anymore. Keep up.

How do you solve the problem of 'too many games' that already exists in the shooter space? If suddenly this increases the number of available games by an order of magnitude, what's even the point?

I'm giving two talks at the Better Software Conference in Sweden next week:
1) Software Design in the Radical Pie Equation Editor
2) Math and Container Libraries in the C4 Game Engine Architecture
I believe videos will be available, and I will post slides.
Dude if only they unionized this could all have been avoided!

It is kinda strange to me that there isn't more worker organisation in the tech space. Programmers are seemingly treated like trash and thrown away even when successful.
"Just don't play it" does not address the gravity of the situation.
It's a billion dollar fuck-you to the soul of the original.
It's the latest premier emblem of creative regression and spiritual decay.
We need a bigger crash.
And I need to get gud. My inability to fight the decay makes me rage.
The legend begins again with the OG campaign plus three all-new missions in @Halo: Campaign Evolved, coming July 28!

I will be a reseller with everything repriced at my discretion in 'fambux' which can be earned in ways I deem appropriate. My house, my economy.
Hey Twitter Parents!
Got a genuine question:
When I grew up, it was totally normal having to pay a premium price tag for video games. I remember having to save all my allowance for almost a full year in order to finally purchase Street Fighter 2 Turbo for like a thousand schillings back in the day - which right now feels equivalent to around 100 USD.
But the gaming landscape has changed a lot over the past 20 years. Mobile Gaming became a thing, games being 'free' while actually being financed mostly through MTX became a thing, etc.
So... if you have kids ranging from 6-20 years old, what's their stance on what games ought to cost?
Are you consistently buying 60-70$ games for them?
Or are they mostly spending their time on games that are 'free'?
How regularly are your kids buying Microtransactions?
