Should anyone be surprised!!! Legislators control the game!
What's #Halloween #scary about #Harrisburg?
Mountains of money flooding elections?
Legislators profiting from industries they oversee?
Outdated laws that never get fixed?
No collaboration between #PAHouse & #PASenate?

Bills with majority support & at least 5% legislators voting yes from each party?
60% total legislative support?
Polls show 50%+ R & D respondent support?
If other- comment!

As long as I remain Speaker of the House of Reps, I will not allow taxpayer-funded office spaces to be used for these underhanded purposes. In the end, the people who really get hurt by these actions are not the members, but the Pennsylvanians that the member represents.”
This is an attempt to return to the Dark Ages of the House of Reps where heavy-handed Caucus Leadership would strip members of office space, employees etcetera to force them to vote in accordance with their wishes rather than in line with the needs of their constituents.
I look forward to seeing our newly elected representatives bring the House to its full complement of members.
When we return to session, I expect a fully functional House ready to put partisanship aside and begin the work that Pennsylvanians sent us here to do.
Let’s not pretend we don’t have time to do things right…
Despite angst about #PAHouse delay in passing rules: in reality few bills pass both chambers until budget negotiations in June. The goal isn't what's best for PA; it's what can be used as leverage to get funding for pet projects.

Say it ain’t so @JakeCorman! See what happens when you ignore your constituents? Stunned that you’d throw your career & legacy down the toilet to protect a bunch pedophile priests instead of children?
I almost feel bad…LMFAO, no, I really don’t.

Whenever I talk to voters, I tell them two things.
I’ll be a vote that Democrats can rely on to pass a bold agenda, and I know how to win tough general elections.
Thank you for your endorsement @PhillyInquirer.

We’re running for Governor and Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania because we believe there is so much opportunity in Pennsylvania.
Opportunity to create jobs. Opportunity to invest in our schools. Opportunity to make health care more affordable.
Let’s win this race, and get it done.

Blah blah blah…All you do is speak on the floor Jake. You bloviate whatever bullshit that someone higher up the food chain tells you to.
Cinderella turns back into a pumpkin very soon Senator.
You threw your legacy down the toilet for child rapists and their Lobbyists.

A $15/hr minimum wage in Pennsylvania would benefit:
32% of Hispanic workers
26% of Black workers
16% of Asian workers
26% of more workers of color
I've urged the Republican-led legislature to send me a bill to raise the wage and close gaps for six years.
It's time to act.

Hey @JakeCorman how can you expect voters to think you’ll be a strong leader while your spine is in @SenatorKimWard’s pocket?
You lied to victims of childhood sexual abuse but posed for pictures with us?
@JoshShapiroPA didn’t lie to us!
He’s no #poser!

Heartbroken by the loss of Kobe Bryant and his daughter.
PA will never forget our time as Kobe’s home. At Lower Merion HS, he captured our hearts and the attention of the world. He truly shined and brought pride to our state.
Frances and I pray for all those who loved them.
