Covid put me in A&E with pneumonia in July. Months later I’m feeling better but have residual lung scarring. I don’t qualify for a covid jab. This govt is pants.
Flu can be a serious illness, especially for vulnerable people. UK CMOs urge eligible groups to get vaccinated. Healthcare workers have a professional responsibility to protect patients from infectious diseases. We urge them to take up flu vaccination. nhs.uk/nhs-services/vaccinat…

Future generations will never believe that the most powerful country on earth elected this imbecile twice, or that grown men, successful business leaders, fawned over him in public and prolapsed their dignity as if they were North Korean generals in fear of imminent execution. A sorry tale.

Why is the eligibility criteria for a COVID vaccine more stringent than the flu vaccine, when COVID is arguably more dangerous? Why don’t you recommend FFP2/3s @UKHSA?
Are you eligible for a free NHS COVID vaccine this winter? 💉🛡️ Read our handy guide or speak to your GP practice or pharmacist if you're unsure. If you are eligible, book it now.

We are in a Covid wave currently. This needs addressing seriously.

Doctors, nurses, all healthcare workers I beg you - please wear a mask at work. Be a role model. My neighbour sat through a heart attack rather than go to hospital and catch Covid from the staff and die, as my husband did.

Meditation for Long Covid, offered as treatment at “specialist” LC clinics, is an insult to those suffering with LC. Imagine a cardiologist suggesting that for arrhythmias, or a respiratory doctor to someone with lung clots, both of which occur in LC.

True but the elephant in the room gets no traction from a CMO. Who knows better and should be speaking out. Disappointing is an understatement.

“Healthcare workers have a professional responsibility to protect patients from infectious diseases” yet NHS has removed PPE while Covid is in its 13th wave. Covid +ve staff don’t have to test. Admission testing was scrapped, allowing huge nosocomial Covid rates now. Why????

If masks work why don’t they introduce them at the start of a COVID wave?
The hospital is introducing the masks from today manchestereveningnews.co.uk/…

How many people who have Covid right now & are complaining about how ill they feel are going to go straight back to work unmasked & then pick up the next thing & the cycle repeats? I’m looking at HCWs 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wear a mask (yes, in 2026) because I decided to opt out of being a lab rat for repeated SARS infections. I expect people to respect my choice, just as I respect their (lol) "choice".

Yet that happens to most people with long Covid when they seek help in healthcare. An unmasked “professional” will tell them Covid isn’t a big deal anymore, ask why they are masking against the thing that ruined their life, and call it mild

I’m just watching Question Time and the lunatic @ZiaYusufUK got a big round of applause when he said we had to scrap the lunacy of Net zero. He continues to lie that it’s net zero policies that make our energy ao expensive, when in fact it’s because we’re tied to the wholesale price of gas. Unfortunately, the public are part of the problem. They’re too stupid to protect their own children from a terrifying future.
