When we hit 9 million domains, one of you shared that they had 9,000 domains with Spaceship. We loved that💙 Now that we've hit 10 million, we want to hear from more of you and give away some gifts :) Tell us how many domains you have with Spaceship for a chance to win one of three identical Spaceship sets: a backpack + a bottle + a cap. The highest number wins one set. And if yours isn't the highest, you're still in: two more winners will be picked at random. To enter: - Like this post - Quote repost it with your number - Make sure you're following us We'll announce the winners in 4 days, on October 6. Winners will be asked to provide their Spaceship username so we can verify their domain count.

Someone asked me recently what the difference between "At the Start" and "As a Prefix" is for keyword placement, because they sound like the same thing. I figured I would answer here as well in case anyone has the same question, as it's one of our more innovative and powerful search features. "At the Start" doesn't care what comes after it, so if you search "ez" and "At the Start" it might come up with "Ezekiel" or "eZine". "As a Prefix" makes sure the remainder is a word, so it would only come up with things like "ezWallet" or "ezPay" (ez+word). It works for anything, not just common prefixes like "i" or "e". The same obviously applies to "At the End" vs "As a Suffix". If you search for "ville" and "At the End" it might come up with something like "VisitLouisville", while searching it "As a Suffix" would only come up with things like "Farmville" or "Foodville" (word+ville). As a bonus tip for those of you still reading, you can use a % in the keyword field as a wildcard. So for example you can search "the%store" (without quotes) and find things like "TheFlowerStore" or "TheBestCountryStore".

Most people in domain space think they are trading names. They are not... They are standing at the edge of ownership and fear, and their pricing reveals which side they live on. This business exposes mindset faster than skill ever will. What you hold is not inventory in the usual sense. It is position. A domain sits at the intersection of identity and opportunity. The right one does not just label a project, it shapes how that project is perceived before a single word is read. That is why the person on the other side of the deal is rarely just shopping. They are trying to close the gap between what they have built and how serious they want to look.. When you set a price, you are not pulling a number out of the air. You are declaring how much weight the name can carry. If that number comes from nervousness, the negotiation turns into pressure. If it comes from understanding, the discussion turns into structure. Same buyer, different energy. Over the years, I have watched talented people drain the strength out of good assets simply because silence made them uncomfortable. No inquiries, no movement, so they lower, explain, justify. Slowly the name stops feeling like an asset and starts feeling like a burden they want off their books. That shift happens in the owner long before it shows in the price. Treat each domain as if its job is not to sell fast, but to sell correctly. Somewhere out there is a business for which that exact string of letters removes friction, sharpens positioning, and makes their story cleaner. For them, it is not a random purchase. It is a strategic decision. Your role is to recognize that possibility and price from that angle, not from the mood of a slow week. This does not mean pretending every name is rare treasure. Some are average. Some are weak. Wisdom is knowing the difference and having the discipline to separate the two. Strong pricing only works when it is tied to realworld use, clear branding power, and an industry that can actually support the ask. If you approach domains this way, something changes quietly. You stop chasing deals for the sake of activity. You start thinking in terms of fit, timing, and leverage. In the end, this is a positioning game more than a selling game. The way you price tells the world whether you see yourself as someone offloading extras or someone transferring meaningful assets. Buyers respond to that difference, even when no one says it out loud.

Sharing this sale as it's too poetic not to....tomorrow I'm launching what will be the only tool domainers will need. I've been crafting it for over a decade as it's everything I personally use for my domaining process under one roof. The exact tools that led me to hand reg this very domain 68 days ago. This tool became my passion project last year and my gift to the domain community. My mission: Give domainers at any level affordable access to top of the line resources. When you see the price-point, which I am vowing to never increase, you'll see exactly what I mean. I am not launching this to make money, but to leave my mark on the domain world. I'll be lucky to recoup my server and API costs, so volume is extremely important. So all I ask of you if you don't sign up, is if you can please RT this. And to jump start things I still have 31 of the 50 $1 and $5 access coupon codes for anyone that Likes, RTs & Comments "DNB" - Can't wait to share with you soon...

So...apparently now with GoDaddy Closeout Auctions, if you add to cart, it's still available to add to cart for others. When you go to checkout it may not be available anymore. Does anyone know when this changed? I've had issues with them being on hold for an hour in the past while in someone's cart, but now it seems you have to checkout right away or anyone can still grab the domain. Picked this example to be ironic.

. No sales in June? Breathe. 🌿 Even seasoned domainers with 2,000–5,000 quality #domains only closed one sale this month. So if you’re still growing, learning, and holding a smaller portfolio, there’s truly nothing to worry about, feel desperate for, or judge yourself over. 🌬️ Trust the flow. Sometimes the harvest comes in waves, not days. July is different. It is a special month, It carries a powerful shift. A sacred transition. The beginning of a new chapter, the second half of the year. Relax your mind, align with your purpose, and stay consistent. Your June sale might just be waiting to arrive together with July’s blessing. Instead of worrying, use the last two days of this month to expand your consciousness and cleanse your mind and body. This will sharpen your awareness and align you with the power of intention, so you can enter July renewed, focused, and magnetic to the blessings this new chapter holds for you. ✨ Detox from social media, apps, news, and the flood of meaningless information. Take a moment to disconnect, to isolate. The answers you seek aren’t in another notification… They’re in a different kind of app: "Collective Wisdom". It’s always been within you, waiting in stillness. “The more you struggle to live, the less you live. Give up the notion that you must be sure of what you are doing. Just take action.” -Baruch Spinoza

Here is a more complete breakdown of the @Afternic Boost program. It includes 10% (best case). 6.25% (break even). I also included 5%, 2.5%, and 0%.
Even with a 10% increase in sales, the seller would receive an extra $3,000. @GoDaddy would receive an extra $7,000. At 5%, the seller would actually lose $1,000. GoDaddy would still make an extra $6,000 in commission. Based on $100,000 in starting sales.

Awesome tool, thanks!
🤩 I created a Firefox extension using Claude Ai to automatically update the Camel Casing at Afternic using a list of my domains. Used Camel Case Domain Names from Expired Domains and then manually fixed any error before running the extension.
