New record for books held by a paper tower! 101 before we started running out of books! The students did an awesome job applying their learning to make these structures super strong! @StLukeOttawa #ocsbSTEM

A great finish to Take Me Outside week! Extending our learning of food chains by playing Prey & Predator, making a colour gradient with nature, cleaning up the Capital and using scraps from Breakfast Club in our Food Cycler! 🍂🪴@StLukeOttawa @ocsbEco #ocsbOutdoors

Today we adopted this tree in front of our school! We studied it and drew diagrams in our nature journals. We had a lot of great questions about why the tree was changing. We will continue to study this tree as the seasons change! 🍂🍁@StLukeOttawa @MissMarascoOCSB #ocsbOutdoors

Today, students created spheres with partners! They used the pan balance to determine whether they had the same mass, then explored fractions by testing whether 1/2 of the sphere would have the same mass as 2/4 of the sphere! @StLukeOttawa #ocsbmath
