Good riddance to Berger Sr! Not only is he one is the most selfish and self centered politicians in the land without a crew for anything that helps NC, but he's long been a defender of teenage and child brides and is the main reason that those marriages aren't banned in NC.
Regarding the film incentive changes- a spokesperson for Senate Leader Phil Berger says the Department of Commerce “was not operating the program consistent with state law, and they were notified of that. Any “changes” are not because of new legislation, rather the Department’s management.”
The Hunting Wives will not be filming in NC because the film incentive program is essentially tapped out of money for now.
