Great anatomic tips for T1 freehand pedicle screw technique @CAS_Spine published now @NeurosurgeryCNS: Midpoint of C7 Lateral Mass Serves as an Accurate Reference for T1 screws. I use a similar technique allowing T1 to easily line up with cervical screws.

Pedicle substraction osteotomy #PSO is a powerful technique in correcting rigid and severe TL spine deformity.
Each osteotomy tool will do the job, but IMO, I found less time, blood loss, and complications with using an ultrasonic bone scalpel.
