Unfortunately for Bellinger, we cooked on this one

Bellinger on the other hand, was lucky. His actual numbers are considerably higher than his expected numbers. xSLG: .434 vs SLG: .525 Almost a whole 100 point difference! xBA: .268 vs BA: .307 If the batted ball data is similar, expect a bit of regression from Cody

YANKEES HAVE CALLED UP BEN RICE Projection systems have him as a slightly above average hitter, viewing him with a potential 108-116 wRC+

Let’s look at the NL side now Spencer Strider - get well soon 🫶🏼 Mookie Betts - 3.0 fWAR, 193 wRC+, .455 OBP, .564 SLG, 1.019 OPS, playing plus defense at SS Yoshinobu Yamamoto - 23.1 K%-BB%, 2.79 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, getting more chases, whiffs, also worth every dollar spent

Comments are turned off. Absolutely shameless organization to drop this information after the season starts. Last season at the Coliseum 😔

Red Sox get a CRAZY value extension on Brayan Bello, 6 years $55 million. If Bello is able to develop one of his tertiary pitches to get more chases and whiffs he will become ELITE. He currently throws his Four Seam or Sinker 56.9% of the time and is well below the league average for K%. He is fantastic about limiting walks, but struggles to put away batters with any pitch besides his changeup. Changing his slider/cutter to more of a sweeper I think could help him make that “Ace” type jump this year.
