Today, MINALOC convened a consultative meeting with civil society organisations and the media, ahead of the Citizen Participation and Feedback Month to be held from 1 to 31 October 2026.
The Month will focus on providing feedback to citizens on Development strategies implementation, translate priorities to projects for execution in 2027/2028 .
The engagement aims to ensure that citizens' priorities are effectively reflected in local government planning and implementation, with particular emphasis on village-level planning.

Participants discussed financing identified village priorities through the proposed Village Priorities Matching Fund (VPMF) and other pooled funding mechanisms to align partner support with community priorities. 3/4

Our Five Program Facilitators from Rwanda, Malawi & Uganda completed the RISE Master Trainer Bootcamp in Musanze, Rwanda. Organized by the Design Team, the 5-day program strengthened facilitation, leadership, and systems thinking to build a stronger pool of Master Trainers. 1/4
