Stumbled upon the odd church of Notre Dame de Paris just north of Leicester Square. On an ingeniously hidden rotunda plan by Hector Corfiato (1952-5) & full of pungently Gallic kitsch furnishings including Jean Cocteau murals. One of the least English places in central London.

What was a 2-way bike lane, 2 traffic lanes, and bus lane is now a two-way bike priority street and a shared lane for buses, taxis, and emergency vehicles. It flipped the script of carving out space for cycling in favoring of carving out space for cars. #TacticalUrbanism
