“If all the beasts were gone, men would die from a great loneliness of spirit. For whatever, happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth, befalls the sons of the earth”.

Top tip for journalists compiling Christmas fashion pieces
Please stop promoting the idea of single use clothing such as Christmas Jumpers and matching Pyjama sets
The world is burning and our neighbours are drowning.
We can still have fun and giggles without this stupidity 😊

Things have just got a lot more difficult . Here’s what I think . I had no control over what just happened . None . But I do have control over how I will react to it . And I am not going to give up on the beautiful and the good , the grip on my dreams just got tighter .

Another night of watching two of my dogs hyperventilating & physically shaking for hours on end due to the fireworks. You’d think that as a nation of dog lovers, we wouldn’t put our pets through this year after year. And that’s without the thought of what it does to wildlife! Does anyone else dread #Bonfirenight? 😖

It's that time of year when around one million Redwings are arriving into the UK, their 'tseep' calls overhead drowned out by constant fireworks with their unknown lethal and sublethal impacts on migrant birds.
The detonation of hundreds of thousands of tonnes of #fireworks to mark the #NewYear brings joy to millions whilst simultaneously contributing to atmospheric pollution, killing wildlife and causing considerable suffering to many people and their domestic animals.
