Just open-sourced Frametell 🎬 Turn your ideas, notes into narrated explainer videos. An AI director agent plans the storyboard, writes the script, voices it and animates every page. One sentence in, a 1080p film out. github.com/sitor-ai/frametel… Watch it turn one sentence into a film, start to finish 👇

What’s less widely known is that many large companies, including Microsoft and Canva, maintain their own internal versions of Rspack built on top of Rspack’s Rust API, allowing them to meet highly customized internal requirements and push performance even further. While this is not particularly friendly to Rspack’s download numbers, it is something we very much welcome. In fact, we created rspack-binding-template specifically to reduce the maintenance burden of maintaining an Rspack fork. We have similar practices internally as well, so we fully understand why teams choose this approach. Ultimately, what matters most to us is whether Rspack can meet users’ real-world needs—not whether we can maximize the apparent impact or adoption metrics of our own tooling.
Microsoft Teams, Loop, soon OneDrive and SharePoint, we’ve all been internally learning and sharing from each other on our RSPack migrations. Lots of custom rust plugins and a few upstream contributions are getting us over the finish line. It’s gold standard for real scale ™️

Looks like ChatGPT is on Rspack now too 👀 Two AI giants. One bundler.
I asked Codex to help me find popular websites using Rspack. It came back with a bunch of results, and Anthropic’s website was among them 👀

We recently upgraded an internal monorepo from Rspack v1 to v2. Build time dropped ~45% Then we noticed the repo had added 4 million lines over the past 6 months. About 80% was TS, mostly written by agents Still plenty to do to keep Rspack and JS tooling fast enough for agents

SWC's binary just got 2.4MB smaller. Rspack and Turbopack could benefit too. Thanks @swwind233 for the optimizations

I ended up sticking with Rspress. Really like how simple it is, the built-in i18n support, and the plugin ecosystem. It just feels easy to work with

In the next release, Rsbuild will enable chunk splitting by default for Node.js builds. This reduces duplicate code across chunks and makes SSR apps more efficient. The benchmark below is a TanStack Start stress test case with many routes and shared modules:

Video Roll v2.1.0版本已经在Chrome/Edge商城审核中,预计两天内会上线。这是目前改动最大的一个版本(docs.videoroll.app/docs/rele…),经过不停地测试和bug修复,底层构建基座彻底从Parcel替换成Addfox(由Rsbuild驱动,这里要再次感谢Rstack团队卓越的工作)。 而Video Roll的整体复杂度也验证了Addfox对大型浏览器插件开发和构建的可用性: 1.VideoRoll的多入口:background/content/popup/options/offscreen/sidepanel以及player.html等超过3个独立自定义入口页面。 前端框架:Vue3(tsx),Addfox提供@addfox/rsbuild-plugin-vue 插件,直接内置了对vue jsx(@rsbuild/plugin-vue-jsx)的支持。 2.组件库:Vant+Floating-vue 3.CSS框架:Less(@rsbuild/plugin-less)+Unocss(@unocss/postcss) 3.其他三方库:Three.js/plyr.js/mediabunny等还有很多小的三方库。 后续会将Parcel迁移到Addfox的过程发布blog,并总结为skill发布

Every app was designed for a million users. Yours should be designed for one. Welcome to Rome OS, an operating system where your agent builds your apps. It builds what it needs to run your life, uses it, sees what works, and improves it. Each pass, your apps fit you a little better. That's the recursive loop. Apps that grow around one person: you. Comment "ROME" and I'll send you early access.
