I've been working on SolarWatch's iOS 27 update. Alongside the new Siri AI integration, it's the app's biggest design overhaul in years. I'd love some early eyes on the still in progress design. Join the TestFlight and let me know what you think: testflight.apple.com/join/pK…

Looks less impressive on screen but still amazing. Don't forget your sunscreen.

Twice a year in Hawaii, the sun passes directly overhead, causing objects to cast no shadows at all. This striking phenomenon is known as Lahaina Noon.

I shipped the SolarWatch Eclipse Catalog update today. This one took a while. Every solar eclipse from 2000 to 2200, interactive path maps, local circumstances, and a 3D Moon shadow simulation. I obsessed over the data but it was totally worth it! 1/8

I built a dashboard of sunrise/sunset quality requests coming from @SolarWatch. From Svalbard to Antarctica, from Hawaii to New Zealand, users on all seven continents. (To that free user in Antarctica, please ping me for free lifetime)
