Excited! I will be doing a workshop THIS SUNDAY on game writing and creative self-promotion! It'll be a 1-2 punch discussing both our creative tools and our creative challenges in a social media-heavy world.
👉Sun June 16 at 4-6pm ET at 192 Spadina Ave. @torontogameswk
ALT Poster image shows an illustration of flower pot at the top, a book on the left, and a gameboy on the right. Poster writing: SUN JUNE 16, 4-6PM Writing a New World The writing workshop hosted by Tanya Kan (Solace State, @vividfoundry) emphasizes designing for positive change and care that you want to see in the world, guided by writing prompts. The workshop will also engage with the challenges with promotional channels, where social media can amplify negative self-image, perfectionist expectations, the infringement of artist and writers’ rights, and the devaluation of creative labour due to the proliferation of non-consensual ‘Gen-AI’. No computer required, just bring paper, pen, and your curiosity! TTL Makerspace 📍192 Spadina Ave. Unit 001a Tag: nextgen creators

So thankful to be included to talk about @SolaceStateGame in this incredible article! Read about 30 delightful small indie teams on The Indie Informer!
Making games is hard. Making great games is harder. But making great games with less than thirty people is unfathomable.
Which is why The Indie Informer teamed up with @ID_Xbox to laud thirty indie creators who took on the impossible.
