ALT If you’re guess for yesterday’s Gaelic word was a COMMITTEE, you’d be correct! SYP is made out of 10 different Committees that tackle different areas and remits, just like Scottish Parliament Committees do. Each Committee elects a Convenor which is part of the Convenors group, who make decisions on campaign matters, as well as all things policy, when it comes to motions submitted. Each Committee also has a Debuty which takes care of things on behalf of the Convenor. All the committees are: Culture and Media, Education and Lifelong Learning, Equalities and Human Rights, External Affairs UK and International Relations, Health and Wellbeing, Jobs Economy and Fair Work, Justice, Social Security, Sports and Leisure, and Transport Enviroment and Rural Affairs.
