Dario Amodei: We may be only two or three years away from AI systems being better than humans at almost all tasks. “I call it a country of geniuses in a data center.” “Imagine tens of thousands of geniuses, smarter than a Nobel Prize winner across many fields.” “They could cure diseases and extend the human lifespan.” “I wouldn’t be surprised if we were able to double the human lifespan.” “They may even build robots for themselves and project themselves into the physical world.” “There are all kinds of questions around the balance of power.”

Most people in France can't afford housing. They didn't blame immigrants, or transgender people, or video games, or avocado toast. They blame the government. Because that's who's responsible. That's always who's responsible.

Thank you to all the govt cytros working so hard to refute that the govt had anything to do with it. Given the effort, it’s definitely convincing that you guys had absolutely nothing to do with it 😉
What Nik Nazmi did was wrong. Let’s not try to justify it. At the same time, it is also clear that the govt is pulling a lot of strings to get all the dirt on him exposed, clearly political assassination. Two things can be true.

You’re part of the ruling government, your party and coalition leaders had a hand in this, the prisons dept is literally under the govt control. So what’s the point of this cosplaying and posting on socmed acting like you’re still the opposition? LAME
Why should the conditions of the house arrest remain a secret? He is a convicted criminal , with a conditional pardon, not a full pardon, which he has not met. His greed has created a country in debt and every Malaysian is paying for it today and years to come. So why should conditions of his house arrest be kept away from the people. How is this even legal, democratic and fair? The people deserves to know the conditions of his house arrest. Be transparent and reveal it. I ask that the Prison Department stop playing the drama that they are now and reveal the SOPs. Because the people deserves to know , how something that is not part of Malaysian criminal law can be decided by a Department under the Ministry of Home Affairs without the scrutiny of Parliament. The whole process is undemocratic. We have no such thing as a house arrest.

News: The French are rioting over high cost of living and under-resourced high schools. The rioters: Yes, that's what we are rioting over. The French government: Yupp, they're rioting over that. Everyone: Yepp, that's whats happening. The far right: Da Blacks! Da Muzlims!

Agreed on most parts. However, anyone that gets into politics should know how to manage their own personal affairs so that it doesn’t get blown up like this. It only shows incompetence and why would we want yet another incompetent leader/politician?
NIK NAZMI CASE On the alleged khalwat case involving Nik Nazmi, my position is clear: politicians are human beings. They do not surrender their right to privacy when they enter politics. Nik Nazmi has acknowledged his detention and denied any improper conduct. An arrest is not a conviction, and being alone with someone does not establish a sexual relationship. People should stop filling the gaps with their own imagination. I have consistently opposed moral policing and the intrusion of religious authorities into people’s private lives. My principle does not change according to someone’s party, religion or whether I agree with their politics. Being in PBM does not prevent me from defending someone in Bersama. Rights belong to everyone. Unless there is coercion, abuse, exploitation, misuse of public resources or actual harm, what adults do in private should be their business. Any personal obligations to a spouse or family are theirs to address. The public is not entitled to turn their pain into entertainment. Some say, “He should have known better. He has enemies. There are cameras and spies everywhere.” But why should we accept a society where people must live in fear of being watched, exposed and publicly humiliated? Political vulnerability does not make an invasion of privacy acceptable. Nor does an approaching election erase someone’s dignity. I am not claiming to know what happened behind closed doors. Neither do you. That is precisely why speculation and moral grandstanding should stop. We should scrutinise politicians fiercely over corruption, abuse of power, public spending, their policies and their treatment of the people. Public accountability matters. So does knowing where public authority should end. I want a government that protects our rights, respects our freedom of conscience and delivers justice. I do not want a government policing our private lives in the name of religion. Mind your own business is sometimes exactly the advice society needs to hear. We elect politicians to govern the country. We do not own their private lives. SITI KASIM

He’s a politician and married tho, if he was single then maybe still can argue, but infidelity as a politician, his political career is pretty much over liao.
Whether my boss, my staff or my friends, i dont interfere their personal life My only comment - cheating is a behavior linked to character… it can turn to a habit eventually

corruption in the West is so rampant they had to rebrand it as “lobbying“ so maps like this can maintain their propagandistic value

If your male best friend is always a bigger priority than your own boyfriend, then that's a valid reason to break up. He's not asking to be always a priority, he's asking to not always be second choice. We all know that if the genders were reversed, people would be telling her to breakup, accuse him of probably cheating and to never settle for a man that doesn't put you in 1st place all the time.
I don’t think this is a valid reason to break up with anyone😩

Najib Razak is set to serve the rest of his prison sentence in the SRC case under house arrest at his Langgak Duta residence. "Beliau boleh tinggal bersama keluarganya," his lawyer Shafee Abdullah said. The ex-PM had received the royal order outlining the terms of his house arrest, although its contents could not be made public following instructions from the Prisons Department.

Creative ways to songlap
KPKT aims to have at least one smart 'Bersih, Menawan dan Wangi' toilet in every state capital, with each facility costing no more than RM1 million. The toilets feature automated air fresheners, air blowers to dry wet floors and sensors to track daily usage. The initiative, which began in Putrajaya, is seen as a strategic investment to improve public facilities and enhance Malaysia’s image as a tourist destination.
