Hah, it's a hard game by design. EP3 is very short so retrying it shouldn't be too big of a deal anyway. There's one or two nukes hidden in the first level so find it and save it for the boss.

Basically you need to keep your distance and use corners as much as possible. My tactic is to snipe with railgun and rocket launcher, and spam Kitty's bombs. One shot, maybe two, then duck behind corner. Depends what difficulty level you're on.

Most likely nah. I do think about it, but from the grand majority of the feedback I've gotten the game is well balanced and a finished product.
People have beaten that boss at 300% difficulty so it is beatable. You can always save a nuke if you want to skip one of its phases.

Maybe that's just the nature of level design. I should try making levels out of as many modular pieces as possible. That could help a bit. Incision had pretty much no modulars/prefabs so every room was handcrafted lol

Yeh, compatibility reasons make sense. Religious comparisons don't lmao. Don't let weirdos like that control what you can and can't do.

Learning to code is often on my mind, but I guess I'm just too comfortable using playmaker. It's a really good tool. My only real issue with Unity these days is the lack of good level building tools.

Hey thanks! I'll keep it in mind. Do you also use uzdoom?

Also from what I've seen zscript isn't very different from decorate when making new objects?

Beautiful stuff. Three great games :D I think Incision sequel would be cool in UZDoom if I rendered the sprites in the same style I used for Incision's cutscenes. Dark and crusty style with authentic 90s look.

Nope. I use visual scripting (playmaker addon) in Unity so I'm pretty much stuck using that engine. I don't have actual programming skills lol

There's unfortunately no level design tools for Unity that make level building as fast and easy as Doom Builder. I'd love to find a tool that just lets me draw from top-down view and connect rooms and hallways, carve spaces into them, etc.

Not really troubles. I just want to make a chill project. Doom Builder and Decorate are just easy and fast to use. Incision was made with way too high standards and I don't want to redo that or do anything even more complicated.

Now you've gone and given me ideas!
Still alive!
I'm working on a survival horror game. I'll show it later this year.
Also pondering if I should make a boomshoot on UZDoom engine. I know decorate so that's a start. I'll definitely need an easier engine than Unity for making another FPS game.
That's all, yep.
