It's now been 4 days since @BSidesCapeTown and I'm still tired. And I'm on day 2 of a migraine. I don't regret going though. It was a highlight of my year. I knew this would be my last one, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, staying from just before 9am until after 7pm.

I had a wonderful day at @BSidesCapeTown today. There were so many interesting talks, and it was great to see everyone again after the break. Getting to meet @jaysonstreet was probably the highlight of my day.
I'm hoping I can help out at next year's conference.
I had an amazing time today working stations via #QO100 today. I managed to make 3 contacts. Paris, Bletchley Park, and Austria. Thank you to Chris ZS1CDG for bringing his equipment over for me to play with.
ALT Una, ZS1UNA, communicating with radio amateurs in Europe via the QO100 geostationary satellite from Cape Town, South Africa. On the left is an 80cm offset dish with a "Patch of the year" antenna. In the foreground is a table full of radio gear. For transmit: a Yaesu FT817 going into a DX Patrol upconverter and a cheep amplifier. On the receive side was an Icom IC-R8500. All was powered by a 12V Lead acid gel battery.
