Big thanks to @HumzaYousaf & @MareeToddMSP for meeting Scottish hospices today. We discussed the impact of (well-deserved) NHS pay awards on hospices. Hospices aren't part of the NHS but must be able to employ nurses & other staff on fair & competitive terms.
Delighted to have agreement from @HumzaYousaf and @MareeToddMSP to progress plans for national hospice funding framework. Key for sustainability #ScottishHospices
Positive discussions today with @HumzaYousaf and @MareeToddMSP about short and longer term funding arrangements for hospices in Scotland. Hospice staff must be included in the health staff pay award. Conversation will continue this week. #fairforall #ScottishHospices
