Perhaps the most disturbing element in the fantasy world of (ex)-Professor Jason Arday is not his proclivity to embellish his achievements (or lack thereof) in absurd ways that were easily exposed or Cambridge University’s facile complicity in his whole scam but that a reporter at Times Higher Education, who was looking into anomalies in Mr Arday’s dodgy CV, was subjected to a four-month police investigation for allegedly harassing him. The police need to be held to account for this abuse of police power to thwart a journalist from doing his job.

I see some misinformed people once again spouting that the North Sea is 90% drained and Norway only some 50%. This is of course not true. A thread 🧵

A whistleblower in the heart of our electricity grid operator has contacted me with serious allegations that the NESO has been hiding information about how securely our grid is being run. I have written to the Information Commissioner to formally request an investigation.
On 2nd June I raised concerns about the security of our electricity grid. I was told by Ed Miliband that I was scaremongering. Since then I have been contacted by a whistleblower within our grid operator, the NESO. They allege that operators are being instructed to hide information that shows the grid is not being operated securely. Worse, they allege that Corporate Affairs interefered with operational decisions to stabilise the grid - risking blackouts to protect NESO's reputation. Despite this coming from within the operator, the Minister doubled down on calling this ‘scaremongering’ rather than wanting to know the truth. This Government is asleep at the wheel. They must urgently investigate these allegations.

🚨Just a reminder that before Rupert Lowe’s Rape Gang Inquiry Report was released Piers Morgan said my claim of 250,000 girls being raped by Pakistani Muslim men in Britain was “utterly ridiculous.” Cenk Uygur said that I was “making it up.”

Dieter Helm seems to have concluded that repeal of the Climate Change Act and closure of the Climate Change Committee should form the basis of future UK energy policy. Glad he has caught up. dieterhelm.co.uk/energy-clim…

The BBC had to correct a claim that this analysis came from the CBI. Lying liars are going to keep on telling lies.
1/ NEW: The net zero economy is now supporting: ✅Over 1m jobs ✅£105bn in GVA ✅22,000 small businesses This analysis from @CBItweets is a reminder that net zero is a great British success story. And exactly why this Government is doubling down. theguardian.com/environment/…

Nowhere did I ever imagine that my life would end up like this, where I am forced to take @AndyBurnhamGM proven Pakistani Rape Gang protecting @gmpolice to the High Court of Justice and win. So desperate to try and silence me, and having failed in their repeated attempts to maliciously prosecute me, Greater Manchester Police has now resorted to protecting Pakistani sectarians and Islamists that seek to try and have me killed. Why? Anything to say Andy Burnham? Of how the High Court of Justice has confirmed that your police force acted unlawfully against a man whose only crime is that he successfully campaigns to protect children from gang rape? No, thought not. Makes no difference lad, as each day passes, more and more people know the truth. _________ I’m Raja Miah MBE. For seven years, I led a campaign that exposed how senior Labour politicians helped protect Pakistani rape gangs. The people of my town helped force the national inquiry. You won’t see me on the BBC. You won’t read my work in the legacy press. That’s not an accident. I take this to a place from where there is no coming back. I document everything in my newsletter. It’s 100% free to read. Oh, Hillary. Hillary, Hillary. You ignorant slut. As the Senior Military Aide to President Bill Clinton, YOU’RE military aide — the officer who carried the nuclear football in and out of the White House every single day — I saw the “people’s house” up close alongside you. @HillaryClinton Spare us the sanctimonious lectures. And turn on your replies, coward. When you and Bill left in January 2001, your staff ransacked the place. Remember? “W” keys ripped off every keyboard. Phone lines cut. Desk drawers glued shut. Obscene voicemails and vulgar graffiti left behind. Presidential seals and silverware stolen. Furniture damaged. The GAO confirmed the vandalism and theft. It wasn’t “transition friction” — it was a disgrace. You trashed the People’s House on your way out the door and now you’re clutching pearls over Trump? I remember, Hillary. I was there. Remember? The hypocrisy is Olympic-level, Ms. Clinton. And you know it! You of ALL people know it! The American people have long memories. Especially this one! Me! We remember who actually looted the place. Shut up and color.
This is what Trump's done to the people's house: A third of it is rubble. Another third is a cage match. What a metaphor.

I want to be really clear in my response. I am not going to retract anything, I stand by every single word. Labour are calling for me to apologise. The answer is no. Industrial rape across almost every town and city in Britain. Sexual torture. Murder. Endless rape. I sat there for two weeks, listening to these girls. I heard how one girl was raped by a dog, as Muslim men bet on what the animal would do. Girls drugged and locked in cages, like rats. Another, raped by 700 men over three years. Dozens and dozens of these stories through our inquiry, and we are barely scratching the surface. This was allowed to happen EXACTLY because politicians were cowards, refusing to discuss it. I will not make that same mistake. I said what I said, and I meant it. The Labour Party have blood on their hands, yet they think they can demand an apology from me for highlighting the systemic evil they allowed to infect our entire country? They can piss off. I am angry about it. Furious. When you hear directly from these girls about what they have been through, it changes the way you see politics. Forever. Our report will be out very soon. When that happens, I don’t want any apologies from the Labour Party. I don’t care about that. I want to see those politicians responsible for covering up this atrocity behind bars for what they have done to these girls.

Climate policy prevented the IPCC’s high emissions scenario, say the media. It didn’t. The scenario was never possible as it predicted burning 5x more coal than is known to exist, even as natural gas was replacing it. The IPCC must be radically reformed or shut down.

#AET carries on building its presence in Angola with its participation in KON4. As the world (ex UK govt) realises oil will be here for longer it continues to build itself into a tasty morsel for a major. I hold, DYOR.

The funniest maths in modern environmentalism. One almond requires 12 litres of irrigated water to produce. Peer-reviewed, ScienceDirect, 2017. A glass of almond milk contains roughly 50 of them. 600 litres of water before the carton is filled. The water comes from the San Joaquin Valley in California, which sits over one of the most over-extracted aquifers on earth. The valley floor has subsided by up to nine metres in places due to groundwater depletion. The carton is then refrigerated, sailed across the Atlantic, refrigerated again, lorried to a Manchester Tesco, and bought by someone who is concerned about the environmental impact of dairy. Meanwhile, in Cheshire. A British dairy cow drinks roughly 70 to 100 litres of water a day and produces around 28 litres of milk. That's about 3.5 litres of water per litre of milk. The water is rainwater that fell on her field or came from a local stream fed by the same rainwater. The rain was going to fall on the field whether the cow stood in it or not. 80% of her moisture intake comes from the grass itself, which is also rain. She converts the grass, free of charge, into a litre of milk containing seven times the protein and four times the calcium of almond milk, and shipped roughly 18 miles to the same Tesco. To recap. 600 litres of stolen aquifer, flown halfway round the world for nutritionally worthless beige water. Or 3.5 litres of rain that was already falling, converted by an animal you can pet, into actual food. The shopper picks the almond. She has been told this is the ethical position. The aquifer would like a word.

I am absolutely fuming 🤬 I've just watched a TV ad for Richmond sausages. It depicted a family of 6 sitting around a table eating their evening meal. Shockingly, they were all white. No one wearing a hijab, no random Chinese kid, no mixed race twins. There wasn't even a blue haired, nose pierced person of indistinct gender. And all this was broadcast during the early evening when impressionable children could be watching. Absolutely disgusting.
