🚨🚨NEW PUBLICATION:
It may feel like Americans agree on nothing right now, but recent polling tells a different story.
We've published the #MajorityAgenda—14 policy briefs grouped into three areas: Good Jobs, Strong Infrastructure, and Fair Play.
From raising the minimum wage and strengthening Social Security to affordable housing and health care reform, these progressive policies are broadly popular despite the political establishment continuing to ignore them.
Voters are in agreement on key policies that will positively benefit their lives, the environment, and the future of the US. Policy makers should consider this a roadmap. Read it for yourself: bit.ly/MajorityAgenda

Hey @EmilyRPeck, we've still work to do.
While some states have raised their min wages above the fed level, 20 states—mostly concentrated in the south—are sticking to $7.25/hr. No one can live on that.

Just 13% of workers in the U.S. are now earning less than $15 an hour. Two years ago, that number was 31.9%.
Even accounting for inflation — $15 an hour in 2024 has the same buying power as about $14 in 2022 — this is remarkable progress.

In my latest for @jacobin I assess the Teamsters’ tentative agreement at UPS. Member organizing won important gains, but also ratcheted up expectations, leaving some feeling that they could have won more. That’s a good problem to have.
