Appstead is now available on the App Store. I built it because I got tired of digging through App Store Connect screens just to understand how my apps were doing. I wanted a clean, native, no-nonsense place on my iPhone and iPad to see what’s earning, growing, changing, or needs attention, then get back to building. After months of work and TestFlight feedback, version 1 is finally here. There’s plenty more on the roadmap. This release is the foundation for everything I want Appstead to become. To everyone who tested it, reported bugs, and shared ideas: thank you. You helped get Appstead here. apple.co/4yTMimg

been working on a big glu sight update lately. biggest motivation? new users keep coming in. nothing like working on a domain you fully know because you live it everyday. can't wait to get this one out 😁

When you make some big changes and bets to an app, but have to wait for Apple review to get into the office… 😅

Designed Appstead for the open screen and that extra canvas from day one. Appreciate the feature, @DuoRadar. 🤝
📊 Appstead 1.0.4 by @SlowbrewedS tracks your apps’ ratings in up to 10 countries and alerts you to changes. It also adapts to iPhone Duo’s open display. A useful view for indie developers with multiple apps. Live data requires Pro. apps.apple.com/us/app/id6781…

I had an incredible conversation with @SlowbrewedS today. We covered a lot of ground, and I’m excited for the future! 😁 If you haven’t already checked out his app, Appstead, it’s incredible: apps.apple.com/gb/app/appste…

Building solo gets lonely when you spend all day inside your own codebase. Really great chat with @stphndxn yesterday. Talking to someone who gets the day to day completely resets your headspace. Big things come from simply meeting other people in the same game. And if you haven't seen what he's building, check out @naturalis_app. A beautiful illustrated field journal for the living world 🌿 apps.apple.com/app/naturalis

Indie devs: More people shipping is good for all of us. Share the fix. Test their tool. Give honest feedback. Buy it if you like it. Apple development has enough silent tooling failures. Builders helping builders makes the everything better.

I sometimes download apps that are full of beautiful SwiftUI animations. I love the craft. But a lot of developers don’t think about or test for what happens when the user has Low Power Mode on. On Low Power Mode, iOS throttles the CPU and GPU to conserve battery. If your animations are still running at full speed, you’re fighting the system. Even worse, users feel it: janky UI, dropped frames, and an app that feels broken right when they need it. The fix is straightforward 👇 and that’s it. Your app now respects the user’s battery choice and keeps feeling smooth. Small tweaks like this are the difference between an app people keep and one they delete. #indiedev #swiftui

congrats on the talk! and amazing seeing appstead used to show off your global app distribution! 🙏🤝 to many more conferences.
Last week I gave a professional conference talk for the first time. This one held at Next App Conf in Berlin, about app distribution. I was nervous with a million things going through my head. In the end it was amazing! People stayed to ask questions and wanted to talk post Q&A.

I have a million things to do. But I'm working slower, more intentionally and only one item at a time. Result? I go to bed earlier, sleep better, and I'm more productive throughout the day despite doing much less. Sometimes, doing more is actually about slowing down. Does that mean my timeframe of work gets longer? Sure. But it's better work, on its own time, when I get to it.
