Sadly, a lot of Japanese people who were born and raised in Japan see things like protests and political criticism as barbaric and extreme, and they're often really apathetic about what's going on overseas, or even about how politics works in their own country, almost as if they see politics as something dirty they'd rather not touch.

Pretty cool, intuitive free music app โYawp - Drifting Loopsโ by Kuta Tsuchikawa for iPad, iPhone, Silicon Mac. Not an AUv3 plugin, sadly! This was made using the free version, the IAPs are just for more โvoicesโ.

Play with the y axis of each note to add hits, play with the x axis of each voice to lengthen or shorten that lane. Tap lanes to mute and unmute them. The dice at the bottom can randomise the sequences, the knob at the bottom opens an panel for EQ and effects.
Love the aesthetic, in both the visual and audio aspects, itโs very chill to play with.

Thank you for trying yawp and writing this up so clearly! That's exactly how it plays. An update lands in the next few days with yawp's own MIDI ports, so its loops can play your synths in AUM or a DAW.
AUv3 is on the way too๐พ

Same 25 minutes.
Top: phone down. Bottom: scrolling.
KOKEMUSU closes the apps you choose for a set time. Open Instagram, and it's raining instead.
