In Rockingham County, our workshop reminded us what classrooms can be: loud with thinking, rich with choice, and built on community. Teachers left excited to spark student talk, offer choices, use stations, build ownership, and focus on students thinking and not just the answer.

I had the privilege of giving the lunch keynote on student‑centered instruction at VDOE’s High Quality Instructional Practices for Private Schools event in Richmond. Ron Clark's “Be 1% Better!” aligns perfectly with my own: “Be better tomorrow than you are today.” #ChangeTheStory
