We've sorry to see this project end. Huge thanks to Hayley @SkillGivers who has championed #DoingESVdifferently and helped many of our members to create meaningful short-term volunteering opportunities that have benefited all involved. 💜
Unfortunately, the funding for maintaining the Skill Givers project has ended & despite our efforts, we have been unable to attract additional investment.
We are therefore very sorry to announce that the project will no longer operate.

Its these connections in local communities like #Burnage that help build the informed, active and resilient communities that are #NeverMoreNeeded @McrCommCentral #ManchesterCuts
Great afternoon with @DBCP_INT giving out certificates and discussing future our Flu Activator group in #burnage with members of our @TalkEnglishMcr group.

So, what wouldn't happen if we were closed today. 3 high risk people wouldn't have been supported to have their flu vaccine, 6 people worried about the coved vaccine would still be worried. 8 people would have missed out on help from our online support group. #NeverMoreNeeded

IF WE CLOSED FOR THE DAY... 51 people would not have had a healthy, warm meal for only £1.
We are only 2 miles from the affluent City Centre yet we are situated within the 11% most deprived areas in England.

#ThankYou for all that you do @justlifeuk to provide those who need housing advice and support! #NeverMoreNeeded
Manchester’s voluntary sector is needed now more than ever!
If we closed for a day, ppl living in unsupported temp accommodation wouldn't have access to housing, wellbeing & benefits support.
