Such a privilege to listen to @MichaelMarmot as keynote speaker at #MakingMCRFairer today. Highlighting the impact of a decade of austerity politics and the growing inequality for the poorest in our society. ‘It is a political choice.’ @ManCityCouncil

My son has had his disability needs assessment completed for Uni. It’s has lead me to really wonder, if it’s possible to do this for disabled Uni students, why is it so difficult to do it for them in school? If the same model was in place in school, more kids would get to Uni!

This guy created an entire episode of @OnlyConnectQuiz for my birthday. It included intro’s, connections, sequences, the wall and missing vowels and each round linked to my birthday gifts. He is the worlds biggest keeper. Best day ever. @VictoriaCoren

Tonight I thought I was going to my first ever Queer Running Club meet up for BEGINNERS.
Instead I accidentally ended up on a run around Hackney Marshes in pitch black with people who do ultra marathons.
Moral of the story. Do not simply follow the other people wearing shorts.

Whenever I pour myself a glass of water I'm reminded of my Year 9 science teacher who mid-lesson on importance of water / dehydration, stood up and quite literally shouted...
