I've had my fill of people who claim to be center-right rooting for the communists simply because they hate Trump. Some of them just had a hard-on for the Bad Orange Man and would be willing for the world to end but most of the rest are part of the old GOP crowd who are angry, so very angry, that the voters stopped listening to them. And they want to punish the voters for being so insolent. I forget which douchecanoe it was during Trump's first term and he said (paraphrasing because it's been a while) "yes, I like some of his policies and his judicial appointments are mostly good, but I wish Hillary was president." That gives the game away right there. Results don't matter. What does matter is acting with the correct decorum. "Oh no, fighting back is too gauche and unseemly." This same group of anal excretions were the ones who hounded us for years when we rebelled against certain candidates. "Tut-tut, you most vote for the GOP candidate, no matter who it is." And then Trump came along and they "Oh no, we didn't mean him. Listen to us." And the voters absolutely did not listen to them. Years of broken promises followed by endless fundraising had finally reached a breaking point with the voters. I'm not counting the Democrats in that group. They are angry, and completely unforgiving, of the fact that Trump prevented Gam-Gam from grabbing the brass ring. Well, it sucks to be them, I guess. But the GOPe contingent? They deserve nothing but contempt. "Voting for the communist/Democrat will teach the Republicans a lesson" they say. That lesson, of course, is that the GOP should be more like the communists/Democrats. Huh. It's almost like they're completely full of shit when they say they are right of center. Who knows? Maybe some of them are actually at least somewhat conservative. But more than that. they are pissed off that refuse to listen to them. They long for the days when you did what you were told, voted for who you were told, and did so quietly. They refuse to come to grips with the fact that those days are long gone. Forever. My problems with the GOP are legion. I have never and will never tell you that you must vote for the Republicans because most important election ever blah blah blah. What I will say is that if you vote for the communist/Democrat candidate you are actively rooting for the destruction of this republic. Your glee should that wing regain total power will give you away. And when it all goes horribly, horribly, wrong, which it certainly will, not a single person will lift one finger to help you when you cry out in pain.
