Don’t. It’s supposedly good but Rothfuss has flamed out like George RR Martin and is incapable of finishing the series. Saga of the Forgotten Warrior by @monsterhunter45 is a better use of your time. It’s epic fantasy and it’s finished.

It is fun when somebody blunders in to yell at me because of the awful things I said during the debate they held with me in their imagination. This is my last reply. Scroll up. It’s a hoot. 😄

This is the first time I’ve encountered this unctuous little worm from Everytown For Gun Safety. Smarmy, weak, soy infused, he’s basically the crying Wojack with the smug mask over it meme personified. It’s appropriate and telling that this is the spokesman for gun control.
Brother the ATF director is welcome to ratio me all day long! Hell yeah!

As much as the black pilled doomers loved to cry about how the Trump admin hasn’t fixed every problem in America… I’d like to point our this is the current ATF director telling some Everytown For Gun Safety dude to fuck off. Keep in mind two years ago Biden’s ATF director was making literally millions of us felons overnight because we had the wrong shaped piece of plastic on our guns. Anybody who says these two sides are equal is dumb or an op trying to sell you something.

LOL, you talk crap to me and then your mad that I responded. I am on my time, and I am exercising my 1st amendment right to call you and idiot. I responded to a message from trash talking, fact twisting BS artist. I am not one of you loyal readers and will NEVER waste my time on you again.

I just read the plot synopsis from Wikipedia about the movie Digger. No spoilers... But wow. Hollywood, you funded THAT idea and actually expected it to make MONEY?!? If you don't mind the spoilers (as in like me you're never going to watch it anyway) holy moly, that is quite possibly the worst plot synopsis I've ever read. I actually stopped half way through, wondering if some Wiki editor was just fucking with us to see if they could get away with it. But from what reviewers are saying, eh... that's actually the movie. Unless the cast is the funniest thing ever, that synopsis is inaccurate, and this movie is some joke a minute laugh riot worthy of top tier in his prime Mel Brooks (kinda doubting that) this thing is gonna flop epically.
This comment is from a post about how Digger is about to mega bomb at the box office. Somehow this dude's description makes me want to watch it even less, and that was already a low bar. That pitch is like perfect anti-marketing. "Trust me, guys, this movie is gonna beat you over the head about global warming and how much America sucks! Oligarchy! Patriarchy! Dying polar bears! Insufferable pretentious film school grads are gonna talk about this at Manhattan cocktail parties for years to come! Now go spend $40 at the movie theater to self-flagellate for two hours." Gee whiz. I can't imagine why this one is gonna bomb! It's sad too because Tom Cruise is talented and he's coming off of Top Gun Maverick which made tons of money because it was the polar opposite kind of pitch. "Hey guys, come watch a fun movie where good guys fight bad guys with amazing shots of awesome fighter jets. America! Fuck yeah!" One of these things is obviously not like the other, and yet somehow Hollywood is still baffled by the results. And ironically, of the small amount of money Digger makes this week, I bet a large percentage of that will come from people who didn't know they were going to an angsty social commentary movie, and they just went to see the one with Tom Cruise in it because of goodwill left over from his previous, non-preachy movies.

Never see any Grimnoir by @monsterhunter45 fanart so I made some. Here's Jake and Sally grooving while an Imperium airship makes mischief. Jake's gotta have his BAR.

I see this argument all the time about the government abusing the death penalty but it doesn't actually make sense if you think about it. The government already has the power to kill its own citizens, only we're so mushy hesitant about innocent people getting put to death now that we now have a system where we house admitted cannibal serial killers for thirty years of appeals. If the government was tyrannical enough to get rid of us innocent but nuisance citizens they're going to do it with a pre dawn raid where ATF agents shoot our dog and then ventilate us for "making a sudden movement" as we get out of bed. Not arrest us and house us for decades of appeals, news coverage, and potential martyrdom. So no, of course I don't trust the government. But we still have a government, and part of that government's job is to have a functioning justice system where crime gets punished. A necessary part of that is removing the absolute worst of the worst evil bad assholes from among us, preferably in a manner swift and public enough that the other bad assholes get the hint. Every functioning society before us did this for a reason. There's a line you set for the government not to cross, to protect the citizens from that sort of thing, but we've moved that line so ridiculously far one direction the system is absurd. There's no point to a death penalty if the condemned are more likely to die of old age.

Rope works too, but the left will scream it's racist lynching if a person of color is executed. Plus, do you really trust the government to never abuse the power to kill it's own citizens?

This week marks two years since I started training BJJ. (I'm the tall old guy in the back middle). For two years now, three days a week, I get my ass kicked by dudes half my age. I'm 51, training at an MMA gym with a bunch of absolute monsters. I shouldn't be fighting these guys. I SHOULD BE FIGHTING THEIR DADS. 😀 It has been painful, tiring, ego shattering at times, and a lot of fun. I've loved it. My only regret is not starting sooner.

Since the death penalty is in the news because of that one woman who didn't die, it's because in some misguided attempted to be "compassionate" we went with lethal injection, because the condemned supposedly just goes to sleep. And that method was because some states thought the electric chair was too barbaric because sometimes it takes a while or people caught on fire. You know what is fast and fool proof? Three to five dudes shooting you in the heart with high velocity rifle bullets at the same time. Just bring back the firing squad. Provided you've got at least one or two decent shots on the squad, that's quick, straight forward, 100% effective. And preemptively, in case any anti-death penalty people show up to yell at me about how inhumane this is, I don't care. If it were up to me we'd expand the program and make it go a whole lot faster.

Digger will the test of time because it highlights themes that aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. So if people want to see a film that will be talked about for a long time on the big screen. Go see it. This film will be brought up over and over as long as oligarchy, corruption, escapism, politics, militarism, entertainment run by billionaires, and environmental issues are a topic of discussion. It’s one of those films that is heavily in your face satire of American elitism, narcissism, and corruption and the righteous indignation that does nothing but provide a distraction to satiate the masses while the world burns.

Oh my. It is the rare 0/0 follower/following account seen in the wild! Could Mr. 44 have a back up sock puppet? Or is this some other deranged random nobody? I'm excited to find out! 😀

In a shocking turn of events the rare 0/0 CISG bleats incoherently! A. I don't work for or represent any "2A gun groups". B. Thanks to doing BJJ at an MMA gym three days a week for the last couple years I'm actually in really good shape for my age now! 😀
