When I talk to other people about 70s movies, this one is normally brought up—for better or worse.
I’m about to walk into a sold-out theater and experience this film, and the only reason why I’m saying this is chances are I’m going to be thinking about this for a while.

I’ve been a fan of this series for a long time, so it was bittersweet to hear this was the last novel. But I have to say that the series goes out on a high note. This isn’t just about Hap & Leonard taking a final bow, but everyone else too. Great job @joelansdale

Received this ARC personally from Max. I’m finishing up reading PETRIFIED DREAMS from @joelansdale (love it), and then I’ll jump into this. Both the Hap & Leonard series and the Quarry series were instrumental in starting my own series. I owe both men gratitude.
A must watch every October. An underrated gem from John Carpenter. @RealJamesWoods
A nice getaway to clear my head with family and explore central Maryland. A great reminder of the beauty that Maryland offers and why I’m proud to have this state in my DNA.
Happy Publication Day @joelansdale
Just got home from work and about to dive into one of my favorite series. I’m sad to say goodbye to my favorite duo, but excited to see where this story goes.
As I count down the minutes until PETRIFIED DREAMS is released, I’ve been rereading my favorite duo. @joelansdale

My weekly drabble is up on my Under the Fedora blogsite. It's called "Torture," and it's based on my own recent real-life experience. Check it out if you've got a spare 30 seconds.
