I've been a fan of Nat's writing online since before we were friends. One of my favorite writers in tech.
If you don't already subscribe to their newsletter, you're seriously missing out.

Seems like a good day to remind ya'll that
- I have a personal website
- The website has a weekly newsletter
- The newsletter is pretty good
Signing up by e-mail and/or adding me to your RSS reader is the best and lowest bullshit way to keep track of me

I'll restrain myself from writing out a whole "listening order" but keep in mind that if you dig into the archives you're often going pretty back over a decade at this point and everyone is pretty different now.
I think that one's a good starting point because its *mostly* post COVID, and the members of the cast who are parents are all parents. So it's *broadly* the same dynamic you'll be getting when you listen to a new episode.
Start by listening to current episodes as they come out. When you want to dip into the archives, I'd say the "current run" starts somewhere around episode 490, where they spend an hour talking about mummies & mummy lore.
Anyway -- if you're reading this far, you should give it a listen.
Personally, my favorite bit for introducing people is episode 188. If you think this sketch about Julia Child and Ray Romano as a werewolf is funny you'll probably like the show. comedybutton.libsyn.com/the-…
This thread in fact started because I realized I wanted to mention to @MaxScoville and @agentbizzle that some of the things they've said over the years about Christmas and the holidays and making them your own have definitely improved my holiday times.
It's also, often, *really* funny, and really thought-provoking. It's a window into the lives and thoughts of some folks I'd otherwise never cross paths with. (Despite the fact that I did once see @agentbizzle back when we both worked in SOMA. I panicked and shouted "BEYOND.")
