It was either a lie or incredibly poor judgement... neither of which are acceptable @PeterStefanovi2
Boris Johnson sold his brexit deal to Parliament on the promise of “NO non-tariff barriers to trade” IT WAS A BAREFACED LIE Whole industries now face financial ruin as a result When will he be held to account?

A strong European Union is in America’s interest. That's why yesterday, I met with @CharlesMichel and the @EUCouncil to revitalize U.S.-EU relations, as we partner up to combat COVID, tackle the climate crisis, and ensure democracies rather than autocracies set rules of the road.

There are so many people sharing so many wonderful memories of Murray Walker. I hope his family know how much he was loved. xitter.cf/PaulMcG92/status/13708…

From the news yesterday, Stena switching Holyhead ship to France. Hauliers only complaint - there still isn't enough capacity. He could only get 25% of what he needed... xitter.cf/rtenews/status/1353046…
Stena says its new Dublin to Cherbourg service sold out on its first day, with 175 trucks booked to sail. | Read more: bit.ly/366OCLE

“It’s Covid!” “It’s teething problems!” “It’s remainers!” “It’s no big deal!” “It’s too early to tell!” “It’s the EU!” “It’s the wrong forms!” Just stop. It’s Brexit. And it’s staggeringly shit. And you wouldn’t need these laughable ‘dog ate my homework’ excuses if it wasn’t.

Remember, we don’t need to rejoin the EU to save businesses and supply chains. We just need to rejoin the single market and customs union. It’s still Brexit. It still fulfils the mandate from 2016. Most people would never even notice.

Govt accused of undermining EU trade deal scrutiny, as @Jacob_Rees_Mogg shuts down Commons #Brexit committee independent.co.uk/news/uk/po… More & more examples of @BorisJohnson Govt's power grabbing, dismantling of Parliament's sovereignty/our representative democracy. People wake up!

Britain is to become Europe’s Little Sir Echo, its economy stagnating and a mendicant rule taker. The experience will finally settle the EU question. We will rejoin. I was one of the millions opposed to Brexit. I’ve seen nothing here to change my mind theguardian.com/commentisfre…

Bloody tiresome that the prevailing wisdom is politicians dare not upset Brexiters, yet Remainers simply don't matter. Why?

It’s now imperative that PM seeks an agreement to extend the Brexit transition period. The new Covid strain - & the various implications of it - means we face a profoundly serious situation, & it demands our 100% attention. It would be unconscionable to compound it with Brexit.

We will never stop fighting for a close relationship with our closest neighbours. This holiday season, gift or join the movement that is fighting for our shared European values and holding @BorisJohnson to account.

Jane Golding, co founder of British in Europe, tells Brexit select committee, "number one concern" for Brits in Europe - 80% of whom are working age - is mobility. Can't work across a border, provide cross border services, no EU-wide recognition of professional qualifications.

.@MichelBarnier says there has been no significant progress on any of the four major obstacles to a post-Brexit trade and security deal with UK. No-deal relationship now looks highly probable

Boarding a flight from London to Rotterdam for work. We are about to depart. No hassle. No work visa. No need for health insurance. No international driver’s license. Cheap phone calls when I land. Working in the EU is easy. Freedom of movement. Why lose it?

Six months ago, my EU partner of over 48 years died in tragic circumstances. She had lived here peacefully, respectfully and legally for over 50 years. Today the coroner recorded that it was suicide, citing among other reasons her worries about Brexit. #StopTheBrexitCoup
