What an eejit. If making daft videos were an industry, he’d be a leading exporter. I’m proud of Northern Ireland’s manufacturers & the skilled people behind them. From shipbuilding to advanced manufacturing, aerospace and defence, we have excellence worth celebrating.

Gavin Robinson on Nolan tonight stating he “believes” the “rumours” of “firearms” on the Garvaghy Road & that Orange Men and Police would have been shot is incredibly reckless. This is nothing more than a desperate attempt to both demonise residents & pacify the DUP extremists

I think a more pressing question is does Jon bring that roll-up poster of himself everywhere in case he feels compelled to make a video ?
My question to the Assembly Commission revealed suspected drug paraphernalia was found at Stormont in August. I suspect the packaging contained cocaine. We don’t know who brought it into Parliament Buildings. I’ve asked the PSNI if they will fingerprint the packaging.

I have no idea where we go from here. Losing Jim Allister, Jamie Bryson and Carla Lockhart from the new Ireland conversation is devastating.

Paul, for the love of God, will you give the “new Ireland” hysteria a rest? Perhaps you and your colleagues could have concentrated on making NI a more welcoming place for Catholics and nationalists, over the decades, rather than constantly frightening unionists about some hypothetical future. After all, unionism had decades of political dominance in NI, Imagine how different this place might have been had equality been the priority from the beginning. Nobody is asking unionists to abandon their British identity or Protestant culture. Equality isn’t persecution, Paul. Catholics having the same rights as Protestants isn’t oppression. Perhaps instead of endlessly warning people about a “new Ireland”, you could help build an NI where everyone actually feels they belong.

You cannot claim to be a “Christian”, go to church, sing your worship songs, and then say that the PSNI should have “sanitised the Garvaghy Road”. The hypocrisy is staggering. Absolutely disgusting and appalling language.

It’s difficult to know who to ask. Is there anyone in stormont , an office or anything, that would have the answer? I can’t see Twitter being the best place to ask tbh.
Thirty-three prisoners went on the run while on temporary release over the past four years. Yet only eighteen were charged with being unlawfully at large. What happened in the other fifteen cases? We need answers.

People are not dirt to be cleaned away. The use of the word ‘sanitised’ is dehumanising and utterly unacceptable from an elected representative. Language matters. This deserves outright condemnation and an apology. No community should ever be spoken about this way.

I'll address this This place has a dark history. The GFA, we were told, consigned these atrocities to the past. A parade murdered no-one. Murderous thugs did that. 35 men, no bands, no crowd is a far cry away from the Drumcree of 1997/8. Post-GFA, can't that be accommodated?

Roadblock Robinson finally getting a taste of his own medicine. I wonder if the media will say he has broken the law, like most did with people on Garvaghy Road before any charges brought or court cases finished?? belfastlive.co.uk/news/belfa…

For those who missed Sunday Politics this morning, this is Jim Allister MP stating the PSNI should have sanitised the Garvaghy Road to enable the OO to march down it. SANITISE! These comments go some way to enable understanding of the mindset behind this historic issue. Shameful

Good. As I said in the chamber on Monday - the police are in an impossible position and we should not redirect fire onto them. We must focus on those who broke the law. In doing so the @ChiefConPSNI has my complete support.
