This is a lie. Only the peoples bank accounts get drained. They politicians back accounts grow much larger from the insane amount of stolen money and fraud.

Joey, this is how they claim they’re decreasing the number of homeless in Los Angeles. People haven’t quite figured this out yet.

I'm wondering if you would ever run for office. your passion is what is needed. I just can't believe LA is like this. I hope Hilton wins and can make a dent. In the meantime, thank you for helping these animals (and people).

So, here it is again! LA can't manage its government funded housing. Drug infested unit with a dead body and a suffering puppy. What's it going to take to clean up this inhumane mess of a disaster? It's going to take new leadership. @FOXLA @SteveHiltonx @peta @LACityCouncil @mayorofla @nithyavraman @YsabelJuradoLA @LAPDHQ

Why do the citizens put up with this ?

Another dead body and another abandoned puppy in government funded housing. Oh, and you know what else they found in the apartment? Crack pipes. Lots and lots of crack pipes. Los Angeles will never learn and all they will do is continue to drain everybody’s bank accounts to keep making housing without resources so more people can die and everybody else ends up with zero dollars in their bank accounts.

Pls make sure this story stays in the news. We should not be killing service dogs. Esp ones who were hit by a car & afraid of a stranger. #SaveMajor
OMG, now they are killing service dogs over one bite, while the dog was hit by a car? This country lets criminals rule our streets but a dog bites some one time & you have to fight like hell to get your dog back. This is the 4th case I’ve seen in a 6 month period like this, only this is worse, service dogs run $40-50K, this isn’t ’just a pet’.

Lucy threw up on her bed a couple of weeks ago — the one the shelter workers gave her — and I couldn't clean it out. So I tossed it. Today, she's curled up under the table on Madeline's hoodie. I imagine she loves it, full of the warm, familiar smell of those she loves. It reminds me of the day after Lucy got taken, when I went to the shelter, and they wouldn't let me see her. I left a bag of stuff for her. Anything that smelled like home. Socks. Toys. I wanted her to know that we were still here. I can close my eyes and remember the way that day felt. I can smell the shelter as I walked in. I can hear the barking. I can feel the fear that I knew Lucy felt and the shaking in my hands that I couldn't control. A part of that sadness will remain etched inside of me forever now, as a memory. I think this is where the wisdom of age comes from. Now, my 11-year-old dog is sleeping peacefully, curled up with another warm, familiar object, while her girls finger-paint on the table next to her and soft music plays while a fire warms the house. These are the times it is all too easy to take for granted — until they are gone. Until they are locked in a cell. We were blessed. We got them back. In retrospect, two months feels like a mercy. I can't help but think of the others. Snuggles. Major. Atlas. The other families that have had these moments seized from them by an overzealous and heavy-handed government. Some for over a year. You're not just taking our dogs. You are taking this. You are taking these precious moments and throwing them in a cold, hard cell, waiting to die. Like they don't even matter. But they do. It doesn't have to be like that. There is another way. Look at this photo. Maybe you'll see it. #SaveSnuggles #SaveAtlas #FreeMajor

AND from snatching our pets and refusing to return them or even give a report on their well being. blocking efforts to get them back or even see them ourselves. @pimacountyaz is a case in point. #SaveAtlas #SaveMajor #SaveSnuggles
I believe that we need legislation to stop police from killing dogs and other pets on peoples' property. Nobody has a right to come onto your property and kill what belongs to you. For any reason. No excuses. Now how do we make this a reality?

#SaveAtlas #SaveSnuggles #SaveMajor too many dogs are being illegally held in kennels when their families are begging to get them back. You can let murderers out on bail, but you can't the dog who has a loving family waiting for them? These people in charge look like bufoons.

If this is true, it should be national news. 90-year-old Army vet. He claims the city of Lubbock killed his dog after he filed an appeal. "Doesn't matter," he says the court told him after conceding that the city usurped its jurisdiction. "The dog's already dead." I don't know the full truth here, so I am not making claims. But we should expose this so all the facts come to light. Please share the hell out of this story.
To whom it may concern (and if it doesn't concern, we're all in a lot of trouble....) Dear News Media, I am a 90-year-old Army veteran representing myself in a civil rights lawsuit against the City of Lubbock, Hal von Luebbert v. City of Lubbock, et al., Cause No. CC-2025-CV-1103, County Court at Law No. 3, Lubbock County. No Lubbock news outlet has reported it in more than a year. The documents are public, and I invite - I implore - you to check every fact below. - On September 17, 2025, Lubbock Animal Services destroyed my dog, Max, one week after I challenged Lubbock Animal Services and Municipal Court jurisdiction and gave notice of appeal in person and in writing. The Clerk of Court threw my papers away. When I mailed them by certified mail 20 minutes later, they were ignored.- -On September 30, 2025, the Lubbock Municipal Court conceded it never had jurisdiction over the case and called the matter "moot" because the dog was dead. - My wife's signature on the surrender form was obtained with a letter falsely stating that homeowners insurance does not cover dog bites. The City's own records show the letter was prepared before she arrived. - When I sued, the County Clerk's office wrote that it had "no record" of my case and that my documents had been "forwarded to the City of Lubbock," the defendant. My case was opened only after I petitioned a higher court. - In the year since, the City has answered none of my discovery requests. The City is now asking the court to dismiss the case for lack of jurisdiction (that after having argued for months in the same court), and I expect to appeal to the Seventh Court of Appeals in Amarillo. I am doing this alone, on Social Security, and have spent more than $3,200 on printing and supplies alone. An appeal will cost far more. This is a story about whether an ordinary citizen can still get into court. I can provide copies of every document, including certified-mail receipts for each filing. Respectfully to all, Hal von Luebbert

Major has now spent more than 560 days alone in a kennel at Austin's animal shelter. On Sept 29 a federal judge said he'd rule within 10 days on whether an outside expert can evaluate him. That was almost three weeks ago. The public court record still shows no ruling. Both sides agreed on Oct 7 to extend the order that stops the city from putting him down, so he's alive. And he's still sitting there with no human touch, waiting. If you missed it, a driver hit Major on a walk in March 2025. Hurt and scared, he bit a woman who was trying to lift him into a car. His owner says Major helps him with a brain injury and seizures. Austin wants him put down. All his owner is asking for is an independent evaluation first. More than 54,000 people have signed the petition to free him. Call Mayor Kirk Watson's office at 512-978-2100 and ask the city to allow an independent evaluation of Major before anyone makes this permanent. Should a hurt, terrified dog die for what he did in the worst moment of his life? #SaveMajor
