As a member of #AcademicTwitter I advise my students to consider all options regarding their careers post-LLB. There’s no size-fits-all. Weigh your options carefully and decide. I have former students with only a 4-year LLB who are doing GREAT in big law firms. – at Sandton, South Africa

VICTORY!
The High Court in Makhanda has granted the interdict against Shell conducting seismic survey along the Wild Coast. This is a great victory for communities in this area who would have been affected by Shell’s activities.
We are struggling with the feed but our clients have successfully interdicted @Shell’s seismic blasting.
They inspire me every day.

1. Yesterday, @ICJ_org criticised the Eastern Cape High Court's decision to acquit Loyiso Coko of rape charges because of the court's reliance on foreplay in its findings.
Some have defended the court's decision as correct under our law.
I think they're wrong.
