I'm on my periods rn so I'm not allowed to touch anything related to navratri puja. Tomorrow's kanya pujan & for the first time, i can't even pack the gifts for the kanjaks like i do every year. Worshipping a goddess while treating women as impure for smth so natural, the irony🥀
During menstruation, women are barred from entering temples or participate in any activity related to pujas.
And guess what, there is a whole temple in Assam to celebrate the very concept of menstruation where the yoni of Sati exists and once a year a whole festival takes place to worship the menstruating goddess. It is considered a symbol of feminine power and fertility.
In India you will worship the goddesses and then take away the girls right to worship.

जब किसी देश का प्रधानमंत्री सरकारी डोमेन पर PM केयर फंड बनाए, लोगों से इस फंड में पैसा जमा करने की अपील करे, सरकारी कर्मचारियों की तनख़ा जबरदस्ती इस फंड में जमा करवाए, पर अदालत में सवाल उठने पर इस फंड को प्राइवेट फंड बोल दे तो रेजीम चेंज ही इस भ्रष्ट सिस्टम को पटरी पर ला सकता है.
