SNL took a commercial for a real psoriasis medication and turned it into a story about a mysterious force that may have existed before humanity. Ryan Gosling, Sarah Sherman and Ashley Padilla helped turn “Otezla” into one of those sketches that gets more ridiculous the longer you watch. Here’s how it works.

This is a very well done video. It also looks like it took a lot of effort. I don’t think I can put into words how much it accurately depicts people I fucking hate tho.

I wonder how much storage space modern AAA games could save if less important objects used texture techniques such as this effectively. A real shame that it's kind of a lost art nowadays outside of indie projects.

Getting models to use the smallest texture footprint possible is fun.

Ever seen a many-plumed moth? Alucitidae are recognised by their modified wings consisting of 6 rigid spines on each forewing and hindwing. Each spine is lined with flexible bristles, creating a structure similar to that of a bird's feather. Look closer!

"I'm smiling but I'm not laughing yet" is such an interesting way to say "It's a little funny."
